Silesian chopped herring

Ingredients

herring 1 PC
smoked brisket 50 g
bulb 0.5pcs
pickled cucumber 1 PC
table vinegar 9% 1 tsp
black pepper
green onions

Cooking method

  • Soak the salted herring for 24 hours in mineral water (I have a slightly carbonated one). The next day, peel the herring and cut into fillets, cut into small cubes. Finely chop the peeled onions, cucumbers, brisket and mix with the herring. Add vinegar and freshly ground pepper. Spread the rye bread with butter, put the herring on top.
  • An ideal snack for cold vodka.
