Girls!!! Has anyone used a Redmond ham in the staff - is it good, fits into 6L?

Girls, please advise!
I was going to buy the Staff DD2, I liked that the bowl is made of stainless steel. But on Ozone I read a bad review about this stainless steel "Awesome and smart unit, compared to other multicooker. The only drawback is that the stainless steel bowl is covered with corrosion, this is the lack of Chinese stainless steel as a whole, because they still have not learned how to make it really ".
Should I trust this review?
And I have a great cup
I have xl
5L parents also have the same quality

My little red riding hood XL came to me, at the first run on the soup button there was a slight smell of plastic, it squeaks not so loudly as I expected after reading the forum. So far, I like everything very much, I hope the friendship will work out and I will send my old lady Polaris somewhere in the stardom.
I don’t even know where to start the day tomorrow ... I want the first thing, and I want to sous-vid ... I crawled to read the recipes, otherwise my brain was already boiling

That is some kind of kapets, I marinated the meat for sous-vid, pulled the duck out of the freezer, I determined with the soup and I will wind up the blue flowers in the morning ...... The impression is that until today I had nothing to cook in. This is what the life-giving cross does this is what the new electric pot does

Marina, congratulations from the bottom of my heart! Do not forget to wash! Unwashed equipment is not covered by the warranty!

What kind of millet do you have that cooked so quickly?
I cook without pressure for 40 minutes, and then another 30 minutes on heating. I love the same proportions, sometimes even 1: 6, it is watery, but very tender and steamed it turns out.

millet, what cooked so quickly?

So I have millet with rice, the rice seems to be boiled, but the millet is prickly and rough!
Although this time it was cooked at a pressure of 0.7, it means that millet needs to be cooked for a long time, right?
Elizabethhow do you believe?
darsergevna
put rice porridge in the morning last night - simmering at 98 degrees for 40 minutes - 5 to 1 it turned out to be watery. Rice separately, milk separately. I put it for another 20 minutes at 88 degrees, then the porridge stood on heating for about 30 minutes. The consistency turned out to be very cool, and not thick, which you can't turn with a spoon, and not liquid. The taste was not appreciated, I ran away to work, left the porridge for the children. One sadness - I never tried it, because the porridge disappeared in the blink of an eye - today there was a small portion for breakfast, and a mustache))) In the supra, I did not get such a beautiful porridge, by the way.

And my unsuccessful pilaf, which came out in porridge, turned out to be very tasty. The children eat, they really like it, and my mother tried it yesterday, she says, it turned out very tasty, the rice fell apart, of course, but the taste / aroma itself is excellent.

Good shtebochka, youngster)) TTT on her, let him work.
Now I want to try homemade ham, I started reading the relevant topic, until I just don't know where to get nitrite salt and saltpeter, I'll continue reading for now.
Trishka
darsergevna, Dasha, with a start!
And you can cook ham without nitrite, we have a lot of recipes.
Look at Lena Tim's recipes, chicken and pork, very successful!
darsergevna
Trishka, Ksyusha, thank you very much!

I don’t know, I want to cook for the children to eat. And I have a small 5 years old, I'm afraid of germs, botulism, and that's all

Girls, of course offtopicbut !!

I cooked millet porridge on the stove, I have an induction hob. I cannot betray you with words, what an airy porridge came out !! And it was cooked at a low temperature and it turned out, as if from a stove, as if languishing in a pot.
the time was about 50-60 minutes.
Now I don't cook millet either in a multicooker or in a pressure cooker)))

Came out
Yes, the pan was stainless steel with a thick bottom.

1: 5 water time 50 minutes
It is necessary to boil, and then transfer to 2 ku.
Byaka zakalyaka
Well .... Today I made a cook in my new saucepan. Homemade duck, in the amount of 2 pieces, was baked on meat into fluff and dust, the legs and chest were eaten, and everything that left the rest of the bones, along with the melted fat, was portioned into small jars (it turned out to be prozapas duck stew). Meat sous-vide ... Lies in the refrigerator tomorrow tasting. The pea soup turned out to be very, very tasty, but 20 minutes (I spied on the girls in the recipes) was too much for my peas ... Ishchez, unusual, but did not affect the taste. And at the end of the curtain I stewed cabbage rolls .. 20 minutes on the meat was enough for the eye, I didn't release the pressure, but when I opened the lid, I didn't have enough red and I decided to add tomato sauce and put it on for another 5 minutes, so to speak, to boil .... yeah, don't then it was, a little darkened from below (in my old lady, for some reason, for some reason, they did not do any weather at all, but here such a quickie). In short, I am very happy with the saucepan, we get used to each other
Masinen
Marina, well, how well everything went with Shteba !!
Irlarsen
And it also seems to me that two ducks in a 5 liter would not fit. Here is an extra litrik already useful
Byaka zakalyaka
Irlarsen, this is one hundred percent, a very extra liter came in handy, especially since the external dimensions of the pressure cooker differ only in height, thanks to everyone who advised

Elizabeth, how do you believe?
if I cook with a pressure of 0.7, then the time is 20-30 minutes and on heating for minutes 30 minutes. And if just in a multitask without pressure, then 40 minutes plus 30 minutes on heating.
In general, I noticed that it turns out tastier when it takes a long time for porridge to reach the heat, any. If I put it on with a delay in the morning, then I put a 40-50 mine for heating. And then buckwheat turns out to be the most tender.
Since I like boiled porridge and at the same time liquidish, I take the proportions at least 1: 5, sometimes even 1: 6, especially on long heating.
Then the porridge is steamed.

Liza, millet took different. Today is this
Multicooker-pressure cooker-slow cooker Steba DD2 / DD2 XL Multicooker-pressure cooker-slow cooker Steba DD2 / DD2 XL Multicooker-pressure cooker-slow cooker Steba DD2 / DD2 XL

Liz, in fact, everything is not so fast. The total cooking time is approximately 45-50 minutes.
Proportions 1: 5, pressure 0.3, time 15 minutes. The countdown began approximately (I did not detect it for sure) after 15 minutes, another 15 minutes the operation of the mode (after the end of the temperature 102 grams), another 15 on heating (the temperature dropped to 95 grams, the float fell). Opened, mixed.Millet boiled into trash.
Gala
Ksyusha, I already wrote, this is who loves what kind of porridge. I rarely boil millet porridge for 25 minutes in water, then pour milk and let it stand for another 10 minutes. Everything I just love this porridge more, but it tastes different.
Natalo4-ka
Good afternoon, girls.
I got this wonderful device. Thing! I'll tell you! And although I have had a cartoon for a long time, it's just a sorceress.
Only now I can’t think of what can be done with a "sports" chicken (Such a good chicken, environmentally friendly. It's already time to cook, but I can’t think of how to cook it. Experience is still not enough.
Tell me please. Again, the chicken is "rubber", as in the old Soviet times.
Venera007
Natalo4-ka, I cook from this soup
At about 1:20, on the meat mode, I cook the broth, then I take out the chicken, cut the meat, vegetables and cook the soup
Trishka

About 1:20 on meat mode
And this is not much, it seems that jellied meat and stew is obtained in an hour?
Natalo4-ka
Venera007, thanks)) I already put the soup in another cartoon, or rather pickle, also in two stages.
But I want to put out the rest, the fact is that I got three pieces at once, and although they are not large, it turned out quite a lot.

Natalo4-ka, look this recipe. "Meat" mode, pressure 0.7, 30 min. An amazingly soft chicken is always obtained, even if you do not soak it in kefir in advance.
Venera007
In any case, I cook such chicken in a pressure cooker for at least an hour. I cooked for 4-6 hours in a usual mult ...
Natalo4-ka
Venera007, yeah, I already opened it and put it on the languor, because it became a bit softer than it was raw)))

Girls, I received a package of happiness from Ozone. Now I am sitting now thinking whether to issue a return and ask for a replacement, or to close my eyes to some roughness. What do you think?

The photo shows scratches on the stainless steel mold and such abrasions on the outer bowl.

P. S. Does anyone know if Ozone returns thanks from Sberbank when returning goods?
marinastom
In my opinion, the problems are not critical, the cooking process will not be affected. IMHO.
But, if anything, then Ozone will return everything.
Masinen
Elvira, and I think this is a trifle, but if you are confused, then return.
Loksa
Natalo4-ka, I cooked poultry at a pressure of 0.7 for 30 minutes - it turned out to be harsh. Although the meat was chicken legs with yellow fat. We tried it, my husband said: I don’t like the poultry: red, tough. I then ran this program again for 0.7 30 minutes, and added water, like meat with sauce. In my opinion, you need to cook poultry with water (albeit in a small amount, wet steam), such as stew or "liver" - there is such meat. You can add onions, carrots. You can make a stew for delicious soups. I would choose a 0.7 prog for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Then you can darken a little more if you want.
gala10
Loksa, and in kefir instead of water, did you try to darken an athlete chicken?
Masinen
I only cook broths from such chicken. They come out very cool. And you need to cook for at least 50 minutes, or even more.
30 minutes is not enough for such a chicken.
Ivanovna5
shoko11, Elvira, on the stainless steel, perhaps, not scratches, but traces of polishing paste. You should try to wash with a soft sponge and soap. There was something similar in my bowl, but it washed off. And scuffs on the closures will still appear over time from closing and opening the lid.
shoko11
marinastom, Masinen, Ivanovna5, thanks, girls, for prompt answers. I decided not to drive my husband with a return, now I'm going to test the unit.
Natalo4-ka
Loksa, Masinen, Thank you.
Oksana, I did so, after "meat" 0.7 30 min. set the languor to 100 gr. 30 min., Opened to see, I did not like it, it is still harsh. I added a bit of water, 80 grams, and again to simmer for 30 minutes.
It turned out to be a very tender, tasty chicken.

Girls, hello!
Tell me what to do, I'm so upset
I used Steba Dd1 for two years and was happy, I didn't know grief.
And then I ordered myself Dd2 on ozone. They brought it. I put the casserole to cook - and horror - it does not gain pressure.I stumbled a couple of times - not at all. Returned to ozone.
I ordered the same in ozone again - they brought it. She began to cook porridge. Happiness, pressure is gaining, everything is perfect! The next day I put the casserole and .... it does not gain pressure again (porridge mode 0.7). It was a shock. She poked and poked, in the end she gained pressure from 10 times.
I close the valve, check the lid, I used a similar one for 2 years ... And now I sit and almost cry. She began to cook again and she is not gaining, but just time goes by without pressure.
Take it again? But where is the guarantee that 3 times will be successful, someone had this?
Biryusa

To create pressure, you need a sufficient amount of liquid (at least 0.5 liters). The casserole is not liquid after all.
Did you gain pressure in DD1 under the same conditions (product and mode)?
