Lettera, on Friday I won't be there ((
marlanca, Gal, yes, that's right.
Rita
Girls, do not your dough rollers stain the dough? My Empire is dirty. I don’t understand the reason ... Is it worth it to be afraid, these are not pieces of metal?

Rita, My Atlas does not stain !! How I adore it !!!

My Atlas does not stain either. Does this happen all the time? Maybe there is something horrible on the rollers?
I also made Serbian pita the other day, however, with meat. How delicious!

Rita
Constantly, from the beginning of the purchase. I thought it would pass. But no!
shlyk_81
And what makes it dirty? Maybe where the oil is leaking? Although, in theory, there should not be a lot of oil there, only factory grease. I even had the first control piece of the test clean. Have you tried to disassemble?
Rita
Something black. It did not occur to me to disassemble. Need to try .

Rita, I also get dirty, but less and less, or rather very rarely, but at first it strained, you skate, and then pinch where the black is, and redo it. How long have you been rolling? I have a year, but I have used very little, now I have just become.
I also had problems with a small noodle cutter, the noodles did not fall, but wound on a roller. I twisted something there, picked it up, it seems better, but somehow I'm afraid to cut on it. Then picking it all out of the cells, it’s still a pleasure. Once upon a time someone wrote here about such a problem, and passed the Atlas as a marriage.

Does Atlas get dirty too?
annnushka27
I have, but it was at first. Now there is almost no such thing. It seems to me that it's okay, they just did not regret oil on our machines. Really, I don't know how she gets dirty on Rita's? Maybe they did not regret her very much.
julia_bb
I have an Atlas TTT, it does not stain, I just threw out the control rolling and that's it, it smelled a little of factory oil.
I remembered that my child had dropped the pen, and a couple of times my hand got stained with gray grease from under the handle ...
Manna
My Empire also gets dirty sometimes. I noticed that this happens when the dough falls from the edge under the roller, then smears it with black grease. But this rarely happens.

I absolutely do not stain, even the test dough was clean))
I'm ready to sing an ode to the noodle cutter, such an indispensable assistant for lovers of flour) I heard the saying that there are people "flour" and "cereal", our family is "flour"

Sivana, that's good, so the author's recipes will be)) Wait, sir)

Can you please tell me, is it normal if the machine chews a strip of dough on the sides? If the dough passes in the middle without touching the edges, then everything is ok. But if the layer turns out to be too wide, the edges are chewed with an accordion. I hope I explained it clearly ...
And another question: for all machines, the thickness of the rolling is regulated by a wheel on the side, which needs to be pulled back and turned, or are there other options?
Manna
Kate, but where does the dough go if it is too wide? Try to fold the dough so that it does not protrude beyond the rollers.

Manna, thanks for the videos, I watched with pleasure
Unfortunately, it is clearly seen there that the dough does not jam like mine. Mine is called GREEN POINT Noodle Cutter GP-381. It cost me less than a thousand. In principle, for this money it is quite decent, only you need to watch out so that the dough does not reach the edges, so the layers are narrow.
Now I will dream of a more expensive and high quality model.
Lёlik
Girls, can you please tell me when we change the thickness of the rolling, do we need to turn off the motor, or can it be adjusted while it is running?

The rolling thickness can be changed even when the motor is running.

filirina
I saw in the video that they change the thickness of the rolling without turning off the motor. In rolling, the first roller (on which the motor is installed by design) is the driving one (rotating), and the thickness of the gap is regulated by the second roller (it does not rotate and is not connected to the motor). So take a close look at how your rolling with a motor works, and if everything happens as I described, then changing the thickness is safe when the engine is on.

While writing, Manna has already posted the video.
Lёlik
Thank you girls for the answers. The music on the video is mesmerizing ... I have an attachment for Kesha, I think the principle is the same there. take a closer look at the rollers.

Mine also chews the edges. Apparently, this is common to GREEN POINT.
And how does she cut your pasta?

Thanks for the compliment! These tech-literate women have a Soviet higher engineering education, so no wonder!
kat-rin-ka
Mona, cuts the paste perfectly, and paper too.
It is only advisable to dry the layers a little before cutting, then the stripes are easily separated.
Tach
kat-rin-ka, Thank you. I somehow assumed so.

Omela, thank you very much for such a necessary Temko! She helped me a lot in a long and painful choice. My husband just brought me a noodle cutter !!! The choice opted for the TITANIA IMPERIA 675-electric. The main thing is that they managed to get it at a very interesting price (the next batch is already on a new one), and even here in Krasnodar. No shipping costs.
Masinen
And yesterday I rolled the dough on mine manually and decided that I didn't need anything else))
She rolls so thin, well, the beauty is growing)
If I didn't have it, then I would definitely buy myself a marcato)
And so, do not want to order with shipment.

I also thought so before buying a motor for Atlas
Mirabel
On Sunday we were at our grocery market, so many other different things are sold and there were dough sheeters, in my opinion Italian and it is written that you can buy a motor that they did not have. And the machine itself is only 15 euros, and I don't remember the name (sclerosis) ... well, there was more than one there, they were buying food, wouldn’t they let me have a good look and ask. And they said, stop looking at all the nonsense.
Wander around the next week with a specialist without witnesses to the bazaar and look at this machine, or maybe not only look ... buy already, but roll the dough.
Lerele
Mirabel, what are you, still without a typewriter ??
Mirabel
Lerele, Yes, her hands will not reach her in any way .. (n) something on the way gets more important, constantly some discounts are sent. And then this nonsense is cheap at the bazaar ... I would not want to conduct experiments and buy a normal typewriter, but here it is nearby and so available ...
Lerele
Of all that I have, I would leave the pressure cooker, this is in the first place, and the machine is probably in the second. Well, or on the third after either a kneader or a bread machine.
She is so good to me that I still don’t want anything.
kupavishna
Sivana, Thank you! My husband pushes me to all these bells and whistles. Teaches how to handle them. He works in food production, he is connected with all the technology. I leaned more towards Marcato. But firms (good friends of her husband for many years of work) associated with professional Italian equipment (there are those that have been working directly with Italy for more than 10 years) unanimously repeat about the Empire. For some reason, Marcato is not carried.
Masinen
And here I sit and think, maybe Markash can buy myself, ahhh ..
Found not expensive, I hope not a fake.
I was just exhausted ....))
Without a motor, and buy a motor Gastorag, maybe the price is normal and fits the marcato.
Lerele
Masinen, so you have, and Kenwood also has a nozzle.
And what to do with them ??
Masinen
I don't like Kenwood, she rolls thickly (((
I like the other one, but I'm afraid it won't last long, or maybe it will.
And Marcato, you just want to)))
kVipoint
Masinen, but where did you look at the Gastorag motor, otherwise I can't afford it, but I want to try
Mirabel
Masinen, Mash, how did you even know that Gastorag is coming to your test machine?
filirina
Quote: Masinen
And Marcato, you just want to)))
If there is a possibility - we must take it! This is not a dough sheeter, this is Lamborghini! I am so delighted with her! Metal quality, build quality - the rollers are perfectly parallel. She rides her entire 18cm. width and does not chew on the sides and the dough is already translucent on 9-ke.
Masinen
Girls take me to the Markatorsch company))
It was a sin not to buy it, especially since the price was a fairy tale!
I checked everything, the original is Marcato.
And I'll take the motor Gastorag, I found it for 1700 rubles.

Masinen, Congratulations! I never thought that I would make noodles myself. But with the acquisition of the atlas, I liked rolling the dough so much, I just rest my soul.
