Ingredients

Butter 82% 200 gr.
Milk 250 ml.
Semolina 2 tbsp. l. with a slide
Salt 0.5 tsp
Garlic 4-5 teeth
Fresh herbs (dill, parsley) taste
Mayonnaise 3 tbsp. spoons

Cooking method

  • Thanks to our forum member Lyubasha with her well-known semolina cream, which is already loved by many, I got the idea to create a cream based on semolina, but ... unsweetened. Which I did in order to decorate my Royal meatballs.
  • The cream turned out to be very tasty, strong, and keeps its shape well. True, because of the semolina, its consistency is more like that of caviar oil than that of a real cream. But this in no way diminishes his dignity.

  • So, first we take milk and semolina, mix and cook for several minutes until thickened. Cool it down. The porridge turns out to be very, very thick, almost stone. Beat the softened butter with salt and add semolina to it in several passes. After the semolina and butter have mixed well, add mayonnaise and beat well again. Then add garlic and herbs to the cream. The cream is great for decorating any dishes, even decorate a herring under a fur coat, at least any other salad. Well, or smear on the buters!
  • Imagine ... you take hot toast ... you rub our garlic butter with green leaves on it ... and this whole thing with hot borscht ... yes with rolled salcea ... My God, just tear it off and throw it away, what yummy! Well, in general, you understand me ...
