Banana and raspberry fruit and berry paste
Category: Blanks
Ingredients
Raspberry 1 kg
Juice of 1 lemon
Large bananas 8 pcs.
Sugar 500 g
Cooking method

1. Pour raspberries into a saucepan and squeeze out the lemon juice. Peel the bananas, cut them into slices and place them in the pot as well. Pour 60g on top. sugar and heat everything over low heat until the raspberries let out the juice.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, cover pot and simmer for about 15 minutes. Use a metal pusher to smooth the mixture.
3. Pour the remaining sugar into the mixture and let it dissolve completely over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil and adjust the heat so that it does not boil too much. Cook the mixture for 10 minutes, until it is so thick that the spoon will leave a trace on the surface. Stir constantly while doing this.
4. Fill the jars with the finished fruit mass and cool well before closing.

Note
And from myself I will add - the deliciousness turns out to be extraordinary! I just love both bananas and raspberries ... And together they are ... just a fairy tale!

luchok
Unfortunately, there is no such data. I store the pasta in the refrigerator, but I somehow quickly disperse it, either as a filling for a pie, or just for tea, and my daughter loves a milkshake with this pasta ... Therefore, alas, I find it difficult to answer about the shelf life ...
luchok
Well, okay, I also decided to define it in pies, so the Viennese dough is already on its way
RybkA
Oh, how delicious I guess
And where do I need so much jam this year? But you can't stop cooking

luchok , and the filling does not float / leak in the pies?
luchok
Oh, it's probably too late
RybkA, no, everything is great, the pasta is thick, we really liked the pies, so the pasta ended in a moment
rinishek
Crumb, girls, and what can replace raspberries?
in the sense that it is clear to me that any berry, but firstly, we already seem to have no berries, and secondly, the amount of sugar will be the same?
and in general - I do not like raspberries.
Is it possible, interestingly, with a plum or with a peach - nectarine?

rinishek
I tried with strawberries, for my taste it turned out even tastier than with raspberries! But it's too late for strawberries ... although we still have them on sale in our markets, but the price ... I find it difficult to answer about plums / peaches / nectarines ... I haven't tried it, but in my opinion it should turn out very interesting! As for sugar, the main thing to remember here is that the less sugar, the shorter the shelf life of the workpiece. I try to put half of the sugar in the recipe. I roll the blanks with "halved" sugar under a tin lid.
rinishek
Tiny, so after all, here and so - 0.5 kg of sugar for about 2 kg of berries and fruits (by the way, is a banana a fruit? It's kind of like a herb)
and what - to halve? put 250 g of sugar?
I have a bit of a bored strawberry drenched in syrup in the fridge. You can make a paste for the sample.

It turns out that my question is this - less sugar is initially put in sandwich paste than in jam or jam, right?

Yes, no, in this recipe with sugar everything is fine, it's just that everything seems to me forever oversweetened, that's why I subtract it. I cooked apricot confiture with cognac with half the norm of sugar and everything is the same, I am incredibly sweet ...

Not always, but more often than not, yes ...
rinishek
thanks for the answers, sweet little baby.
today I will experiment
Iver
This thing ... this thing gave my child back his faith in jam (she still has everything sweet and from a jar - jam)!

Krosh, thank you very much as always!

Little one, can you roll this paste into jars under a screw? Will it be stored without a refrigerator?
Bananas are now cheaper than raspberries, I wanted to play with a new taste
Ledka
Crochet, Innusik, you say so, is it tastier with strawberries? 500g. is it already half the dose of sugar? I don't like much sweets either
Eugene
Crochet, Inna, thanks for the delicious recipe, I bookmark it
