Beef stew with mustard and ginger with vegetables in a multicooker Oursson MP5005PSD

Ingredients

beef (all parts go well, even trimmings from the shanks - but you need to increase the stewing time) 500 g
sour cream 1 glass
carrot 3 pcs
onion 1 large head
canned green peas 1 glass
mustard powder 1 tablespoon
ground ginger 1 tablespoon
seasoning for meat or pepper + salt + bay leaf taste
a few mashed juniper berries (spicy, but you can do it)

Cooking method

  • I cut the beef across the fibers and into small pieces. Pour in sour cream (no salt) and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. If it is not possible, then leave it on the table, then the time can be reduced to 1-1.5 hours. Marina beef is always in sour cream or kefir - then it will always be soft. While the meat is marinated, grate the carrots on a coarse grater - I do this with a combine. Chop the onion also coarsely. Then, in a multicooker - I have an OURSSON MP5005PSD MULTICOOKER-pressure cooker - I set the Baking mode and fry the carrots (for a golden color I add a teaspoon without a slide of sugar), then I add onions there, at the very end green peas (rinse well and let the water drain). • Lay out the vegetables. Do not wash the saucepan. Then I send the meat there - as it is, do not wash off the sour cream. Fry the meat too. But do not wait for the crust - fry for 15-20 minutes.

  • Then we put everything together. No need to pour water. Add mustard, ginger and spices (taking into account the pungency of ginger and mustard). We put on the Extinguishing mode pressure 3. Time 1 hour 15 minutes. After the signal, do not touch until the pressure is completely relieved.
  • Very soft and delicious.

Note

Oddly enough, millet porridge is the best for garnish. But of course, macaroons and mashed potatoes will be no worse. You can add pickles to meat, but my men do not like them.

Thank you so much! easy and fast. when the family is large, and time is short, but you want variety and taste - a great option. as well as the idea of soaking beef in sour cream (kefir), take note.

I completely agree

Ir, and if the multicooker is NOT a pressure cooker, how long do you think it will take?
