Inna, well, she made fun of the buttons and her husband. You probably haven't read the whole forum yet, because there are so many cool cartoons with sensor programs, where the technician thinks for you how much to cook. Therefore, this pressure cooker is not yet particularly clear to me in management. I feel that there will probably be mostly jellied meat in it.
Girls, I have a question: when you cook soup or borscht and then pour it into a saucepan, then bring it to a boil on the stove or it won't turn sour?
I cooked kharcho and pea twice, did not boil when pouring - nothing sour. True, and ate quickly, two or three days and truncated ...
Roza_Irina
Today I tested the Frying program, which is declared 160-170 * and the time is 25 minutes. Fried potatoes. I had 600 g of potatoes. The empty bowl warmed up quickly, in just a couple of minutes. Since I have something to compare with, I did not fry it much in 25 minutes and the potatoes, while stirring, all the time tried to stick to the bowl, moreover, the bowl whirled around while stirring and had to be held with an oven mitt. In principle, if there are no more options for where to fry, then you can set a credit for 4 points. But I’m unlikely to fry the potatoes again.

Finally the course came to the jellied meat. I bought such a big pressure cooker for him. There were two pork legs and the back of a domestic chicken. Cooked on Soup mode for 2 hours (95 + 25 minutes). I added 2, 25 liters of water, it turned out to the maximum mark. Pressure was built up for about 30 minutes. At the end I waited for it to fall by itself, it took a whole hour. It turned out to be a beautiful transparent broth with fat. Frozen in the refrigerator for 12 hours.

Good, transparent turned out. I think. that for a long time the pressure dropped, because the saucepan is very full. But I also pour it into my pressure cooker - I leave free space on my finger.
For jellied meat, absolutely 90 minutes will be enough, and then if you leave it until the pressure is relieved on its own, it will also sweat during this time. In my Elby pressure cooker I cooked jellied meat on the "stewing" mode - I call it beans (tendons), there I just have the longest program (60 minutes).
Roza_Irina
Thank you very much for your advice! The first time I cooked in a pressure cooker, it's unusual that there is so little time, so I was worried that it would not cook in 90 minutes. Next time I'll try 90 minutes. There is no such mode for 2 hours either, I added it manually.

Alas, I haven't tried it. We have nothing to do with milk porridge. In theory, try reading other pressure cookers on the forum. I am constantly heating milk in mine - so far no problem.
Roza_Irina
Girls from Ukraine, for our pressure cooker, Polina has a 6L stainless steel bowl. I bought it today, it fit perfectly. Now I will not be afraid to damage the bottom with bones.

And with a ceramic coating or a non-stick as the original?
Roza_Irina
Inna, such saucepans are not represented in her Temka, probably not. I saw 6 liter non-stick pots for the Vitalex pressure cooker sold on the aukro, they are very similar to ours and the price is only 170 UAH, but the dimensions are not indicated, although it is written that many 6 liter are suitable. But it's dumb to take without measurements. And that the saucepan is no longer so hot? Otherwise, I don't cook anything in it except aspic.

Unfortunately, the saucepan started to burn ... And in general I want a supply - a couple of pieces, to replace and to cook continuously.

I cook for about 4 months, but it started to burn quickly - about a month later. Not critical if mixed frequently, but unpleasant. In general, the coating of the saucepan is disgusting, if possible, buy a replacement immediately. There are no complaints about the cartoon itself.
ktibr
Girls, tell me pliz who has this thing
All the same, what about sticking? read reviews, complain about poor coverage. I was going to buy two at once - for mothers, that's why I'm worried.
Thank you in advance
nancy
Yes. The inner lining of the saucepan is non-ice. The cartoon itself is super for me. If you want this one, take spare pots right away.
ktibr
thanks, got it. I'll look for them ... it's a pity that the quality is not ice. ..

The instruction, by the way, is so-so. I learned more here on the forum about bleeding pressure, etc. than from this book.

Can you please tell me where to read about the features? We bought this slow cooker, but I don’t understand anything from the instructions
How should this valve be turned (open / closed) when cooking, for example, buckwheat porridge?
nancy
During any operation, the valve must be closed (the pimple on the valve at the 6 o'clock position). To bleed off steam, turn the valve clockwise or counterclockwise. CAUTION!!! Getting burned by the steam is easier than the lungs.

Wow, but I thought that only when working under high pressure Thank you

And tell me, please, about the cover. Should it also be closed during any operation? Or can you work with the lid open? For example, when toasting something? I'll deal with her for now - I'll go crazy
nancy
Of course, you can fry with the lid open. By valve - cooking, with the exception of frying, takes place under pressure, so the valve must be closed, otherwise the pressure will not build up. Exception - if you cook something with the lid open, then it makes no sense to close the valve.
The main thing is not to be afraid! In fact, the cartoon is very easy to operate. Understand - and then on the knurled)) I'm already blindly working on it, and my husband too. You never know what you can do till you try )

Good day! I'm thinking about buying a multicooker, I liked the GORENJE MCB 6 BA model, since the set includes a bowl of good capacity, and you can cook under pressure. But I read a lot of reviews that scold the cup, because everything sticks to it. Please tell me if this is so? Is it worth purchasing this model so as not to regret it later?
Alioko
I was terribly unlucky with this slow cooker

Quote: seagull
Please tell me if this is so?

I cooked porridge 2 times (rice and buckwheat), both times it stuck to the bowl

Is it worth purchasing this model so as not to regret it later?

I managed to cook porridge 2 times in the multicooker, for the third time I decided to make a pie, the board burned out, the multicooker has been under repair for 2 weeks. So I would highly discourage this model.

Please tell me what program to use to cook fries?

French fries - in fry mode

Good evening! I am very glad that I found this group! Received this pressure cooker as a gift! Now I'm starting to study it! I don’t have a program (or maybe I can’t find it yet)! What can replace it?
Elmira31
tell me, I bought a multicooker burning msv6va, I can’t figure it out. I decided to bake a charlotte, clicked on the baking, set the time, but did not count the time back, waited about 70 minutes, and on the scoreboard it was 40 minutes. turned off, pulled out damp. what am I doing wrong?? I cannot understand the instructions.
YuliaZin
You closed the pressure valve, it will be scolded when the pressure rises.

Hello everyone! Yesterday I bought a multicooker, I'm dulling awfully ...

I started making baked milk, and troubles started right away:

1 - after a few minutes the OVERHEATING error lit up, why? Turned it off, opened it, closed it again, put it in the "slow cooker" mode for 3 hours, then another 2 for "heating"

2 - after the main program has ended, the HEATING mode is activated. Then I wanted to turn it off, pressed the CANCEL button, combined with the HEATING - should the display go out? It didn’t go out for me and some "about nothing" icons appeared on it. Is that how it should be? Can I open the lid when the display is on?

3 - burnt out tightly ...

4 - milk curdled ... From 2 liters of 3.2% fat, 430 grams of cottage cheese of the color of boiled condensed milk was obtained. The milk itself, or what else can you call the liquid in which this cottage cheese floated, tasteless ...

What am I doing wrong?

Hello! I appeal to experienced users, I became the owner of the Multicooker pressure cooker GORENJE MCB 6 BB, I do not have a baking mode, how can I replace it?

Girls! Tell me how to cook porridge (buckwheat, rice, wheat, etc.) in such a cartoon GORENJE MCB 6 BA ??? 7 Thank you)))
Sveta Khramova
Hi there. The porridge needs 3-4 minutes. Although by default it costs 10 minutes (for the RIS function), but this is sooo much.
Potatoes need 3-4 minutes, for raw pork 7 minutes, for chicken 5-6 minutes, for jellied meat 60 minutes. If the soup with chicken (with noodles or with something else - it doesn't matter) I boil all the products and put it on for 5 minutes. Nothing is boiled and the soup is immediately ready.
So for everything you need to reduce the time. otherwise the porridge will boil too much.

Svetlana, Thank you Svetlana! And we are on the way from the same city ?? )))))))) So I’ll ask you how that on a multicooker))) And you don’t know, maybe there is a website with recipes for this model?
Sveta Khramova
Oh .. exactly from one city .. which is just a rarity)))
I just recently bought this miracle technique, so I'm not too experienced yet. But, with the world on a string, as they say ... we will master ...)))
you need to try all the time to cook different dishes and little by little, so as not to be sorry to throw it away, if anything)
My husband and I got hooked on fries. Delicious !!!

Svetlana, write me your mail somehow, we'll write off something like that)) Today I'm going to pick up a multicooker))) I also want fries)))))

Svetlana, Hello! bought a multicooker MCB6BB is it possible to bake in it? After all, she does not have a Baking mode.
margaret_temza
Hello. The question is, how long does it take to cook stewed vegetables in a gorenje mcb6bb pressure cooker?
Irtsa
Girls, good evening!
Joined your group of owners of pressure cooker burning, brand MCB 6 VA.
I ASK FOR HELP with the BAKING mode.
The first call went zebra cake, baking mode, the valve in the closed position, for 1 hour. 15 minutes. the pressure cooker did not gain pressure, and the countdown did not start, turned it off, the cake was baked, but did not rise, as they say brick by brick.
The second recipe from her book is kinder ..., I tried to bake like the previous one, but the same picture in 1 hour. the baking mode did not turn on, turned off, the cake was baked, but the same story, it didn’t rise, even if you hammer it in.
Then I tried to bake a cheesecake, the same baking mode, but with an open valve, judging by the baked edges, the cheesecake rose, but fell ... (I baked it in the evening in the morning)
I read that the baking mode can be replaced with the porridge mode ...as a result, the mannik put rice on the mode, but increased the time to 30 minutes, the valve was closed on the panel after 15 minutes, the pressure was displayed, but the lid itself did not block, in the end the picture is the same - a caked pancake ...
Maybe my pressure cooker is defective? Or do I have two left hands?
I hope that someone will finish reading my memoirs and help me, I will be very grateful
PROSS
Can the boys prompt? And then I gave it to my wife, and I myself use it more.

Time is counted not from the beginning of pressure, but from reaching a certain temperature. If your time does not count back - most likely a marriage. All the pies that he did - no comments at all (the mother-in-law even liked it). When baking, the valve does not rise, or it rises at the end. If you stood for an hour and did not count - a direct road to the service center, do not look at the pressure.
Pork, ribs - you can bite your fingers. Cooking time 50 minutes in "Stew"
Strained by sticking messages? Does it start to burn immediately or after a few months? Judging by the reviews, somewhere a defective batch of bowls slipped through, such as 50/50 - someone like that. Some even had their soups burned. We have Baking, even after 70 minutes, everything falls out freely
Irtsa
Good evening, PROSS a huge thank you for your response and for your time.
Moreover, getting an answer from a man is very nice
Another small clarifying question, do you bake with a closed or open valve and do you preheat it?
Thank you in advance
PROSS
The valve that you close with your hands is closed, and the one that should rise from the pressure - as you are lucky. But the inscription Pressure appears regardless of these valves (the multicooker looks at the temperature as I wrote). And then the countdown starts. In addition, I did not warm it up, I just greased it with oil, poured the dough, filling and forth.
The baking time is the same as for the pressureless multicooker recipes. But the power of 1000W must be taken into account. If the recipe specifies an oven for 90 minutes, then 70 is enough for this one. For example, see the link below - in the recipe you need to bake for 90 minutes + do not open the lid for 15 minutes, then this MV coped in 70 minutes, and even immediately climbed under the lid 🔗
Irtsa
Thank you, and for the recipe separately!

I'll try baking again tomorrow ...
I hope it won't reach the service center ...
PROSS
Marble, from the recipe book, in 30 minutes is just quite edible. Train on it - there are few products and quickly. The inscription "pressure" appears after 5-10 minutes in baking mode. The main thing is that the time will start to count back after the appearance of this inscription. If it doesn't count, then some kind of trouble with the sensors
Irtsa
PROSS, you helped me a lot.

So to say, they systematized knowledge.
Tomorrow I'll sign off on the results.
Thank you.
Irtsa
Good evening
Report on a previously considered issue - baked a marble cake (on the advice of PROSS), poured it, turned on the BAKING program (valve in the closed position), in 40 minutes. the pressure indicator did not turn on and the countdown did not start, but the cake was baked, although it did not fit. Such a sadness ...
But an interesting fact, on the BAKING program I tried to "bake" water, the pressure indicator was highlighted and the countdown started, something like this.
Tomorrow I will contact the service center, but somehow I don’t want to part with this device - I’m already used to it ...

Have a nice evening everyone, may your multi serve you faithfully
PROSS
Yes, something is wrong with her. To the service 100% with a complaint that the time does not count down in the baking mode. With water, it happened because the rising valve closed and the temperature increased due to pressure. And with the dough, it does not seem to be gaining the desired temperature.
Alfie
Good day everyone! So I became the owner of the mcb6ba gorenje pressure cooker. Since the book with recipes is more than modest, a question arose for the owners of this multi: recipes for which multicooker pressure cooker are best suited? Well, I really don't want to act on the principle of a scientific poke on all dishes. How different are the same recipes for different brands and models? Thank you.
