Mila Sweetheart, I have been making pickle for a long time, several brews and by eye, just not on a grater, but on a shredder, I boil the barley until half cooked, then I wash it, cook it in a multicolor, medium cucumbers and carrots are also in straw on a shredder, it turns out small. I think the greenhouses will go, I cook with tomato paste.

I'm very worried. Made with tomato (Kuhmaster, good pasta), but also poured vinegar 9% at the rate - 100 g.
I tried the leftovers - nuclear acid for my taste. Probably, it was necessary to reduce the vinegar, since there was a paste? Or will the pickle be infused, there is so much fresh pearl barley, and it will not be sour?
In general, I am very pleased - it is very easy, the vegetables are all elementary peeling, not peppers with tomatoes (I'm tired of lecho, although I love it most of all)), the combine rubbed everything for me, and chopped cucumbers into cubes, and nothing even burned (last year I was making some kind of rice salad - I washed the pan from the burners for two days)

I want to make a sample without tomato. I know that without tomato the "more correct" option, it's pickle, not a hodgepodge, but I always cook with tomato. And I made jars with tomato too.

kartinka, Marin, I also do it without greens, you can then throw it into a saucepan. I added water, I think it's not scary. If only it suits you to taste, but don't bother with the amount of portion, I also don't have to once at a time. And I generally add 1kg of cereals, I like it when the soup is thicker.
