Pear and tangerine jam (in a bread maker)

Category: Blanks

Ingredients

Pears 3 pcs.
(500 g)
Tangerines 3 pcs.
Juice of 1 lemon
Sugar 400 - 500 g
Zhelfix if desired

Cooking method

  • No water! Only pure juice that has been discharged.
  • Peel and core from pears. Cut into 4 pieces lengthwise and then into transverse pieces.
  • Fold in a saucepan, pour, so as not to darken, with the juice of 1 lemon. Cover with sugar.
  • Dismantle the tangerines into slices, add to the pear, cover with sugar.
  • Leave for a while and go about your business.
  • It is advisable to mix thoroughly a couple of times with a spoon or wooden spatula.
  • After an hour, the sugar will dissolve in the released juice and you can cook the jam in a bread maker, but the mixture can calmly wait for you for a longer period of time.

Note

P.S. Pear jam has almost no aroma and therefore is flavored with vanilla sugar.
Usually it is better to cook it by the method of repeated boiling, as we usually cook quince as well. But in a bread maker I decided to combine a pear with tangerines, as it is cooked in Sukhumi, and my mother-in-law told about this long ago. I could not find a real Sukhumi version of making jam in the internet. Tell me if anyone knows.
