Hominy balls

Ingredients

Kudesnitsa corn flour 300 gr.
water 1 liter
salt Little
feta cheese or cottage cheese for the filling about 200 gr.
muzhdy sauce or sour cream or any other sauce taste

Cooking method

  • We cook hominy according to the main recipe, but only put less flour - about 300 grams per 1 liter of water. It turns out to be a softer consistency. We cool it down. With wet hands we make mamaliga balls, and inside we put sheep cheese or cottage cheese, or any filling according to your taste. We roll the ball in Kudesnitsa corn flour, then in an egg and fry for 3-4 minutes in a cauldron in hot oil.
  • You can cook in the post with mushrooms, onions and carrots fried in tomato. On ordinary days, the milk or cheese filling can be replaced with meat. There are many options. The dish is elegant, convenient for serving in portions.

Note

I slightly modified the recipe - after dipping it in corn flour, putting the balls on a silicone mat, pouring it with a minimum amount of calcined sunflower oil and baking it in the oven at high temperature until crusty (10 minutes).
