win-tat, Tatyana, Thank you!!! I ran to study the topic. Indeed, with this leaping euro exchange rate, you have to move, otherwise they will be delivered to us. From one internet store they unsubscribed to me that they do not plan deliveries - the question is why, if such a convenient and popular waffle iron turns out to be. It should be beneficial for them.

There will be, they will be, they often "emerge" now and are in very good condition, and there are even new ones, this is how many people have stored them ... although in the late 80s and early 90s they bought everything that was possible, if only money have not disappeared, and now the children-grandchildren are raking the supplies of grandmothers-mothers.
Natalia mish, good luck!
I also don’t understand why so few of them were delivered last time, maybe a trial batch, they were so quickly disassembled, isn't it an indicator that the product will be in demand, especially since there seem to be no more analogues of this size in our market.

Yeah, the breakers are wonderful! It seems like when you showed it for the first time - I was able to calm myself that I would manage, that Lakomka has a similar pattern of waffles .. but in Lakomka they don't come out so beautiful at the break. I rarely get it.

To love
We rode with my husband around the city in waffle coffee shops for the sake of interest)
Visited 3 coffee shops over the weekend:
In one, the doors were closed, although it is written on the Internet that they work
In another, waffles are written on the menu, they asked: which ones? Hong Kong, Viennese? To which the girl at the checkout replied: just waffles ... (
and one more serves: Hong Kong waffles, Norwegian waffles in the form of hearts
And then I realized: I don't have a waffle iron with hearts !!! ...
I had to buy and bake to work for tea)

-Lemon - 1 pc.
Beat eggs with sugar, pour slightly cooled melted margarine into the beaten eggs, stirring vigorously. Add potato flour, grated lemon rind and stir.

3. GENTLE WAFFLES

-Sugar - 30 g.
- Flour - 100 g.
-Egg - 4 pcs.
- Cream - 4 tbsp. spoons
-Vanillin - to taste
Beat the margarine, add a little granulated sugar to it. Beat the eggs until foamy. Pour flour into whipped margarine in portions, alternating with portions of cream, gradually stirring. Beaten eggs are poured into a well-mixed dough and mixed well again.

4. FRESH WAFFLES
- Flour - 1 glass
-Egg - 1 pc.
-Water - 1 glass
-Salt, soda - on the tip of a teaspoon

5. SAND WAFFLES
- Flour - 2 glasses
-Sugar - 1/2 cup
-Egg - 1 pc.
-Butter - 30 g.
-Water - 0.5 l.
-Salt, soda - on the tip of a teaspoon
-Vanillin - to taste
Grind butter at room temperature with sugar, add egg, salt, soda, vanillin and beat well. Add half a serving of water, add flour and mix thoroughly. Then gradually top up the rest of the portion.

6. WAFFLES ON KEFIR (not sweet)
-1 1/2 cup flour
-1 tsp baking powder
-1 tsp soda
-1/2 tsp salt
-2 glasses of kefir
-1/3 cup vegetable oil

7. WAFFLES ON MILK
-0.5 l milk
-1/2 pack of margarine
-1 egg
-250 g sugar (I take less - about 200 g)
-vanillin
Melt margarine.
Add egg, sugar, vanillin, mix with a mixer. Then there is a trick: to make the dough without lumps, I first add flour and stir, and then add milk a little at a time.
If the dough becomes liquid - flour again, dilute with milk. And so, until about 0.5 liters of milk are consumed.
The dough should turn out like thick sour cream (but not rustic, where the spoon is).

8. Waffles on condensed milk
-margarine 200 g;
- condensed milk 1 can;
- eggs 2 pcs;
-starch 1 glass;
-flour 1 glass;
- soda (1/3 tsp), slaked with vinegar.
Knead the margarine, mix all the ingredients, the dough should not be liquid. Put a little dough on the base of the waffle iron, make sure that the waffles do not burn.
Before the first waffle, grease the waffle iron (both surfaces), then no butter is needed. To make the waffles the same color, I follow the clock with a second hand. As soon as the waffle is ready, I roll it into a tube. I tried different recipes, but I didn’t like it, if you don’t eat it at once, the waffles became soft, and these remain crispy for a long time.

Natalia, take it! This brand was also called on a par with Esta ... But it should look one-on-one as Tanya showed win-tat. This particular model is very successful.

Girls, is it worth taking such a waffle iron if it is blackening inside? How is it washed? 🤔
NaaaTaaa
I got my Volta. She really is like Esta shown here. Only from the photo it seemed to me that they were bigger :)) such a beautiful toy. So I washed it lightly yesterday. Now I spread it with linseed oil and ignite it .... Eyes sting, even though it stands on the balcony. I smeared it with a thin layer with a silicone brush. Tell me, please, does she need to do such a procedure once? and what color should it get? and how many minutes to warm up? (on my panel they were virgin gray).

I roasted Esta with olive oil for 30-40 minutes. The color of the plates became darker, but not much. I think that once is enough for the initial "non-stick" layer, then with each baking it should only harden.

Yeah, when I ignited, I left the kitchen. My color has practically not changed, maybe it has become a little darker, in the photos you can see the plates before calcining (where the dimensions are) and after (with the waffle).

Natalia, too thick layer of oil applied. Heat it up again and try to remove this layer ...

It is necessary to apply thinly, it burned out, wiped it off with a paper napkin and you can apply it again ... Or even once is enough. This waffle iron has excellent quality panels, material porosity is very low, little oil is needed to create a good non-stick layer.

I just calcined it for about 5 minutes just before baking, rubbed it and started baking

Try to walk through the grooves with an oily toothpick through the paper
Yuliya K
There should be no stickiness, perhaps the oil layer was more than necessary. I agree with Sveta, you need to warm it up and try to remove excess oil until it has completely polymerized.
Quote: NaaaTaaa
Clean up this layer?

I would try to warm it up with olive oil first, it helps to dissolve deposits of other oils, maybe in this case it will help - take too much?

i11371, listen, I seem to have seen the one you are talking about ... There were already very black panels ... We have to dig the Internet, what is it done. We need to remove the panels and cook them in something, I guess so ...

But if they give it away completely cheaply, then why not try to reanimate it.

Another question is why are they so black? So many waffles were baked in this waffle iron? misused?
NaaaTaaa
I used both tips, it became much better. Thank you! I'll try it tomorrow.

It won't be easy! The good thing about this waffle maker is that the waffles are thin and crispy! But you can make horns or tubes with a filling - thin wafers usually lose fragility from the filling.

And today I made potato chips on a waffle iron for thin Bomann ON 5017 SV, just from potatoes.
I tried 2 options for slicing - on Burner (thin petals) and on a giant (respectively, even thinner).
We liked the slicing on a giant and slightly salted, - real lace chips
Bake instantly and disappear instantly

And those on Berner are a bit thick and look more like just fried potatoes.

Stunned! How is it? Are they flat and with a waffle iron pattern? Do I need to lubricate them with oil? before or after placing in the waffle iron (although the question is probably stupid - most likely before)? Do they get damp when they cool? and how will such chips look with additives other than salt - paprika, for example? And another question: is it worth the candle - well, how much does the speed of cooking and eating correspond to each other (it would be desirable, as it were, not only to put it in your mouth, but also to have enough for your family and even a drop of it left)? So many questions immediately arose! The idea is superb - I'm waiting for details, or better - a separate recipe !!!

Olga VB
mish, Natalia, I will try in order.
Chips are absolutely flat, the pattern on thin ones is practically invisible, on thicker ones it is clearly visible (they turn out in a box).
I think the thickness between Burner and the giant would be ideal, but I don't have one. True, there is an idea how to do it (with the help of a potato peeler, of which I have a ton of different thicknesses).
Before baking, I smeared the petals only with salt and just before the laying, because if in advance, then they let the juice and become more sticky.
oil lubricated the plates before each bookmark, because otherwise my waffle iron might stick.
Do not get raw. However, they have no time, tk. disappear instantly.
Paprika or something else has yet to be tested, although any powder can be used. But it is important not to overdo it. with this cooking method, the taste of any additives is very bright (tested on potato waffles).
The cooking speed is almost instantaneous, because after the giant, the petals are thin and fried very quickly.
The number of chips in each tab depends on the size of the potato. But with any bookmark, if you want to eat yourself and pamper others, it is better to bake the required amount with a gagged mouth, and then indulge everyone.
Good luck!

Girls and boys, I am again in agony of choice ... I am looking for a waffle iron for my mother as a gift.
Appliance requirements: reliable, replaceable panels (she is interested in Viennese / Belgian waffles and grills), uniform and fast baking (do they exist?), For 2-4 servings.

I'm looking, looking, but there are no reviews for many or not very good reviews ... I don't know which one is better to choose the power. Does power matter? Sometimes an expensive waffle iron such as Mulinex has 700, and an inexpensive one is more.

Which firms are better to look at? For the thin ones, I know that Cloer is good, and the Belgian-Viennese waffles are for me a dark forest. Do the Belgian and Viennese need different panels?

- Friends recommend VITEK VT-1592 ST, but in the reviews they criticize for uneven baking and baking time. Power - 1000

- Polaris PST 0105 is also scolded for slowness - it has a power of 850

- I looked at the Moulinex SW6118, but the device has a total power of 700 and there is only one review on the market (though good)

- Popular REDMOND Multi-bakers scold for build quality ... I don't know which one to look at.

- I also looked after GFgril GF-040, but they also scold him for a bad build.

Please help with advice. Maybe someone has the indicated devices? How do you like them? At worst I thought to buy her just a good reliable waffle iron for thick waffles without replaceable panels - maybe you can tell me something here?
Sedne
Sonya, why does mom need a grill panel? If you fry sausages or bread, then this panel in a waffle iron is needed, if steaks or fish are to be fried there, then a separate grill should be considered, waffle irons cannot cope with this. Very good waffle maker for thick Belgian waffles gfgril gf-020 waffle pro, it bakes very quickly and is temperature controlled. At the expense of build quality, I have a lot of gfgril devices, they just suit me very much.
Doxie
Svetlana, thanks for responding! gfgril added itself to the list, I will see if we have in the city. The adjustable temperature is a separate big plus, but I forgot about it.

Yes, she wanted something like sausages and small pieces of chicken fillet. In general, something small. But reading the reviews on the market I understand that you should not chase the number of panels, it is better to buy just a waffle iron, but good.

This will not work, all meat, fish and chicken are rather stewed or cooked in waffle irons, for meat you need a device with a capacity of 2000, not a waffle iron with high power, but a grill device. I had a large waffle iron with 1800 capacity, it also could not cope with meat, well, there were crusts.
Doxie
Svetlana, understood, thanks a lot! Then I will focus on the choice of waffle irons. But for now, gfgril has become the leader - power, regulation.
Can you tell me more, please, it has a rather unusual design for me - is it supposed that during baking it is necessary to turn it over? Or such a design so that the table does not heat up?
Sedne
Sonya, yes, you have to turn it over.
Doxie
Svetlana, Thank you so much!

Shine, well, I disagree, I often fry the breast in a cartoon, it turns out quickly and juicy
Multi-baker Redmond (our Cartoon) - sharing experience and recipes # 1131
I read that fish are baked there, but opinions about thick waffles seem to be ambiguous, I don't have them, so I can't say anything, but I'm very happy with the grill plate, everything is fried and baked.

Light, well, I don't agree, I often fry the breast in a cartoon, it turns out quickly and juicy
I also fried it in a cartoon, it turned out, firstly, for a long time, and secondly, it was boiled and stewed, on the Steba grill for 5 minutes with a crispy crust.

Well, I have it for 3 minutes longer, but not boiled-stew. In general, everyone has different tastes, I am quite happy with the cartoon in this regard, although there is a Midea grill with detachable panels.

Wow, I have at least 20 minutes

Sonya, by the way, for meat and other things, look at the air fryer, you can GF, I really like GF now, before that there was Phillips, I don't even know why, but love did not work out, I sold it, but I got along with GFshechka straight. It seems that Kitfort has the same one, but I don't have it and I didn't have anything I can't say about her.

I like chicken from AF more than grilled, although it takes longer to fry.

Svetlana, wow, I didn't know that there are such! Thanks, I will take a look.
In general, I love this small technique and use it more often than large ones.

I've looked at GF not only for my mother (she will still take 020, most likely), but also for myself a baby waffle iron - GF-010.

Tatyana, yes, I was stopped from Redmond by some reviews about the panel for thick waffles (and the emphasis when choosing it was on them), although there are a lot of good reviews!

I have it, redmond does not bake quickly, waffles for 8-10 minutes, GF or Frifri cope in 3 minutes, well, depending on what temperature to fry on them. I would not take Redmond as a waffle iron, it is good with a large number of panels, but even the Tefalevsky Multi-baker makes it in terms of speed, although they have the same power.

Very good waffle maker for thick Belgian waffles gfgril gf-020 waffle pro
The waffle iron is wonderful! You can bake without recipes by mixing the dough on a whim with various fillings, be it fruits and vegetables or mashed potatoes. It bakes for no longer than 4 minutes, the degree of frying is adjustable, the coating is of high quality, and it is easy to clean.
Doxie
Svetlana, are freefree professional waffle makers? But there the price, unfortunately, does not fit

Thank you very much for your help and advice!

Elfa
Sonya, I agree with both Julia and Svetlana. I have a small Redmond multi-baker, and there is a panel for thick waffles, so if your mother wants only for herself, 1-2 bookmarks of norms, and if more, personally, I got tired of waiting, the multi-baker bakes thick waffles for a long time. So I later bought a round red GFK. Happy as an elephant. Much faster, and the shape is better - the cells are deeper, it bakes well both sweet and vegetable.
If you have any questions, ask me, I have both devices.
Doxie
Elena, Thank you!
I called yesterday and asked my mother - she also tends to a non-multifunctional waffle iron without removable panels, but faster baking. In terms of quantity, she is a little bit with us, but saving time is always a huge plus. In general, we chose GF 020, especially since we have them in several stores.

I wanted to ask GF - how do you clean it? Is it enough to just wipe the panels or can they be unscrewed and washed?
Elfa
Sonya, GFKA is a great choice, congratulations on your choice.
This waffle iron has such a coating - I have not yet burned anything so that it was impossible to wipe it off with a napkin.
Therefore, I just wipe it with a paper towel after each use.
And I have not met any reviews so that the girls unscrew the panels there, I think this is impossible.
Doxie
Elena, I realized thanks!
I am very glad that we have already decided. Here, according to the advice on this forum, I chose a double boiler at one time - I never lost. And initially I looked at other steamers, more sophisticated (as it seemed to me). It still works just fine. You are very helpful, girls!

Uff, ordered!
Girls, excuse me, there is still a question about GF 020 - do you pour the dough there, turn it over and it is baked until ready? Or do you pour the dough, turn it over for distribution, and then put it back?

Sonya, yes, I turn it over to its original position just before taking it out. So the top-bottom browns more evenly.
Doxie
Yulia, Thank you! I'll get the tenth, take it to her and test it.

I found it for 1799, I doubted a little because of the suspiciously low price (dns), so how I will pick it up - I will carefully examine whether it is new. Just in case, I looked at one more store, where the price is higher.
