Wings in red balsamic (air fryer)

Ingredients

- chicken wings 1 kg
____
Marinade:
- balsamic vinegar red 1.5-2 tbsp. l
- olive oil 0.5-1 tbsp. l
- ready-made mustard 2 tsp
- brown sugar 1 tsp
- salt 1-1.5 tsp
- paprika 1 tsp
- a mixture of spices for chicken 0.5-1 tsp

Cooking method

  • In most recipes, sweet and sour wings are marinated in soy sauce with honey.
  • But it so happened that my home could not make friends with soy sauce, and I was overfed with honey as a child, so I am not friends with it in meat either.
  • Therefore, the marinade with red balsamic, mustard and sugar became our favorite.
  • The spice mixture did her own - everything was ground into powder so that the marinade was viscous.
  • But you can certainly not bother and buy a ready-made chicken mixture.
  • My chicken spice composition:
  • - paprika
  • - tomato powder
  • - coriander
  • - curry
  • - chile
  • - fenugreek
  • - dried onions
  • - dried garlic
  • - nutmeg
  • 1. Wash the wings, let them drain and cut off the third smallest part so as not to interfere.
  • 2. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade in a separate bowl.
  • 3. Pour the mixture on the wings and leave to marinate for 4 hours in the warmth, stirring occasionally, or in the refrigerator overnight.
  • 4. Put 5 wings on foil.
  • Stage 1 - 10 minutes at 180 C
  • Got it, turned it over
  • Stage 2 - 7 minutes
  • Wings in red balsamic (air fryer)

Note

For the oven:

1. Preheat the oven to 190-200 С
2. Cover the baking sheet with foil and lay out the wings - separately, not in bulk.
3. We bake for 15 minutes, take out, turn them over to the other side and put them back for another 10-15 minutes

Wings in red balsamic (air fryer)
I didn’t cut my fingers off, because I like to gnaw them straight with bones
I baked it in the airfryer last week. Today they brought me an air fryer. In the near future I will repeat it and unsubscribe.
Thank you very much for another marinade that has become part of our diet!

Ksyushk @ -Plushk @ - to your health !!!
In the airfryer by the end of cooking, it is advisable to look at them 3 minutes before the end of the timer, just in case, so as not to burn, otherwise my timer is a little strange, sometimes stops at 1-2 minutes.
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
Thank you! I put a cross for myself. Oh, I still have to master and master it (air fryer).
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
Julia, as promised, I am again with wings to you.

We also liked this recipe. And although AF appeared only recently, it made wings several times already. The husband devours them for a sweet soul and also speaks about them "like seeds." Ready to eat every day ... Thanks for the recipe. In bookmarks.

Mowgli - it says on the bottle Balsamico ?
If yes, then you can take it, it looks very dark outwardly.
That is, the most important thing is the dark color and the word Balsamic on the label
These are all my red balsamics, the softest of them is Iberica.

It is made from wine, that is, there are 2 types of balsamic - from white and from red wine

julifera , I have the same problem with AF .... How do you deal with this? I just move the timer a little bit and AF starts working again ...

And about the recipe - thanks for the idea! I, too, somehow didn’t get accustomed to soy sauce ... It is always available, but we almost never use it .... I’ll go look at the Balsamica store. And we will have delicious wings!
julifera
milf - I'm glad that I liked the recipe!
lillay - I don't struggle too much, I just add 2 minutes more

Today I cooked again. The oil was vegetable, the sugar was white, the mustard also ran out, I put wasabi instead. The rest is prescription. Sugar is still better to take the recommended, and even tastier, honey or lemon jam with ginger ("Maheev"). But wasabi fits very well into this marinade. Even tastier than mustard. The oil somehow did not notice the difference, and even a little bit in the marinade.
Delicious recipe, thank you! Moreover, it is the wings that turn out to be the most delicious, although I did it with all possible spare parts from chicken.
lillay
And I used this recipe to make chicken shanks. Marinated them overnight. I liked the result very much, we will repeat
marinastom
I did yesterday too. I liked it very much!
But there were some adventures. There were 15 wings. On the first batch I forgot to switch the temperature, when I turned it over, I found it. Even though they fried for 160, it's still ok. The second batch - a complete flight! And color, and juiciness, and taste - something! I did the third later, I was waiting for my husband from work for dinner. I set it to fry and turned off the light in the 7th minute. I waited a bit - not a fig! I just took out the frying pan, warmed it up, poured oil, put down the wings - they turned on the light. Well, I did it in a frying pan. No comparison.
juliferpoint, thank you, dear, for a wonderful recipe for marinade and in general!

Kokoschka
Tell me please, did you warm up the air fryer in advance?
julifera
No, if I warmed it up - I would indicate this in the recipe
Let's just say - warming up is not critical for the wings, and if it were pork kebab, it would be better to warm it up.
Kokoschka
understandably! I will do tomorrow. .. already marinated 4 wings 1 leg and two pieces (thigh in half).
Kokoschka
julifera cooked a chicken. delicious!!! : girl_love: I'm in trouble for armament. Afa is super. The next step is to try the oven. but I don’t dare yet.

Julia, I need advice.
I here somehow decided to make pieces of turkey fillet in such a marinade. And I didn't like them. The meat turned out to be rather dry, although I breaded them with everything. Maybe the turkey itself is a little dry?
julifera
I didn't make a turkey, we don't eat much of it, so I don't know.
Chicken fillet - it will definitely be dry.
In the same marinade, I really like the pork kebab, but the juiciness there also depends on the part of the body and for the pork, a preliminary 3-minute warming up is certainly desirable.
marinastom
Thank you dear! Well, at least science will be different for me too.
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
Julia, can I stick in?

Marine, right, the turkey itself can be dry, even the legs, so it is better to cook the chicken parts in this wonderful marinade.

Thank you girls! And with Coming you!
