Timbales with pasta and turkey

Ingredients

Turkey fillet 500 g
Onion 1/2 pcs.
Colored pasta 1 package
Oil sl. 2 tbsp. l.
Flour psh. 2 tbsp. l.
Cream 200 g
Bouillon 200 g
Champignon 50 g
Garlic 1-2 teeth
Egg 2 pcs.
Salt pepper taste
Rast. oil for frying
Sl. oil for lubricating forms

Cooking method

  • Timbales are musical instruments, or rather Cuban drums. But dishes baked in drum-like dishes are also called timbales, and there is a great variety of them. More often timbales are prepared in individual forms. I bring to your attention my version.
  • Boil the pasta until half cooked, drain the water, dry the pasta and cut into rings up to 1 cm. Grease the molds with oil and put the pasta rings from the inside.
  • Timbales with pasta and turkey
  • Finely chop the onion, fry, add chopped garlic and fillet, also chopped into small pieces. Fry lightly.
  • Cooking the sauce. Fry the flour in butter until lightly browned, pour in the cream, broth, salt, pepper and put the mushrooms into slices. With constant stirring, boil the sauce until thick. Then add half of the sauce to the meat, add the pre-beaten eggs there. Divide the resulting mixture into molds covered with pasta rings.
  • Timbales with pasta and turkey
  • Cover the tins on top with oiled paper or Teflon baking sheet and put in a slightly preheated oven for 20 minutes (~ 160). Serve with the remaining sauce.

The idea for this dish comes from Mary Ronald's "The Century Cook Book", here 🔗 and refined according to their own views and tastes.

Thanks for watching. No, Vladzia, it was baked in ordinary silicone molds, there is no dough right there.

And when baked, the macaroons do not dry out and do not become rough?
A cool idea, so you can shove any filling, the main hassle is to properly stick the walls with pasta
Thank you!

Venka, so that they do not dry out, I undercooked them, and then, in sauce and covered on top, they arrived. It is important not to overexpose. You follow the link that I showed, there are described simpler ways to cook timbales, including in a water bath, then the pasta will definitely not dry out. And thanks for rating!
