Simple charlotte (Pie with apples or filling variations)
Category: Bakery
Ingredients
Large egg 3 pcs.
Sugar sand ordinary white 200g (incomplete faceted glass)
Wheat flour of regular grinding 150-160g (1 glass with a small slide)
Apples "Antonovka" or any sour medium size 4 pcs.
Cooking method

Take a deep container, pour in the eggs and beat them well with a mixer, then add sugar and beat again with a mixer, add flour and mix with a mixer until smooth. The dough should resemble thick sour cream and drip slightly, but not drip from the mixer attachments. Remove the seeds from the apples, cut the apples into cubes (it is not necessary to peel them from the skin) and pour into the finished dough. Stir everything with a spoon. Prepare a baking dish by first spreading it with butter (creamy or odorless vegetable) or send it with glassine (baking paper). Pour the cooked dough with apples and put in the oven (you can preheat it, you can also cool it) for 40-60 minutes. Baking temperature 170-180 degrees Celsius.
Note: The apple filling can be replaced with either raisins, or dried apricots, or cinnamon, or poppy seeds, or grated lemon (orange) zest. When replacing the apple filling with other fillings, less flour is put, that is, a faceted glass without a slide.

In fact, everything is filled in; poured zucchini, pumpkin, melon, raspberry, currant, pear, plum, pitted grapes, apricots, peaches, quince ... If only pitted. I have not tried just pouring watermelon. I do not cut the fruits too finely, I vary the sugar depending on the sweetness of the filling. And by all means add a tablespoon of thick sour cream and a few grams of baking powder or soda to the dough. Yes, a minimum of fuss and a consistently delicious result.

A good economy option for every day. I did it with frozen currants, everything worked out, the pie is loose and tasty.

TATbRHA, can you tell me what needs to be done: I made this pie, put the cherries on top (having previously rolled them in flour so as not to sink to the bottom), but they all ended up at the bottom of the pie. I really want the berries to be evenly throughout the pie. Maybe there is some kind of trick? On the whole, the cake turned out to be loose, soft and tasty.
