Sun-dried tomatoes marinated
Category: Blanks
Ingredients
tomatoes cream 1 kg
salt 15 grams
sugar 15 grams
a mixture of spices called 1: 1 by volume of salt
dried basil 1 tablespoon
unscented sunflower oil 3 tablespoons
ground black pepper pinch
Cooking method

Wash tomatoes, cut lengthwise, remove seeds with pulp.
Combine salt, sugar, spices and sunflower oil, mix well.
Put in a container (I put it in a 3-liter bucket with a lid) in rows, adding a pinch of the spice mixture to each half and leave for a day at room temperature, then put it in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
Remove from the refrigerator, drain the juice, brush the tomato halves from spices (so that they do not burn during drying) and put them on the trays of the Isidri dryer.
Switch on at speed 2 (50 degrees C) for 10 hours.
Turn off and leave to cool completely in the dryer, then put it in a container (I put plastic in sour cream jars), close the lid and into the freezer.
Bon Appetit!

The dish is designed for 100 grams
Cooking time: hours
Note
I and my spouse liked this recipe most of all, I did it in three different ways: 1 - I added garlic, 2 - this method described above, 3 - I immediately sprinkled the chopped tomatoes with spices and oil and put them to dry in the dryer. It turns out to be a real delicacy. Photo has not yet learned how to insert, sorry, it takes a little time to master.
Thank you for your attention.

This is how the spices will burn at 50 degrees?

It may seem strange, but without spices, pickled tomatoes after drying are tastier and more beautiful, the greens after the marinade, and even after drying, have a slightly unsightly look.

Beautiful, but you, Admin, I'm sorry, you can't see herbs, I mean them.

So, I don't put herbs! I use small spices for grilling, soup and others, and I put not a handful, but a teaspoon just for taste

of course, I sprinkled the tomatoes with a mixture of dried herbs that come with the Adjika mixture. (Here in the photo is a variant with spices on the left and without spices on the right, respectively.) Help insert a photo, please.
