Pickle pie

Ingredients

Brine 250g.
Vegetable oil 30g.
Butter 100g.
Sugar 200g.
Soda 1 \ 2h. l.
Flour 700g.
Varene thick (I have plum) 400g.

Cooking method

  • Heat brine, sugar, butter until sugar and butter are completely dissolved.
  • Add vegetable oil, flour mixed with water. Knead a soft, non-sticky dough. At this stage, I had to add a lot of flour, since the dough did not want to become non-sticky. As a result, we got so many.
  • Since I didn’t think of using a baking sheet, and I don’t have a suitable form, I divided the finished dough into 2 parts. Put one part in a split form d24cm. Spread it with your hands on the bottom and make the sides.
  • Put the jam on top.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180C until golden brown. The exact time depends on your oven. I have 1 hour.
  • Pickle pie
  • Certainly not a masterpiece of culinary art, but as a way to dispose of candied jam and pickle (the toad crushed to pour out - very tasty) - super !!!! They have eaten all of them. Tomorrow I'll fix the second half.

The dish is designed for

2 cakes in a 24cm pan.

Without waiting for tomorrow, I baked it today. Apple jam, the dough lay in the refrigerator for about 4 hours, rolled it out with a rolling pin, made the sides higher. Liked it even more. No cut yet, hot.
