Why are the fruit holders in the Trend different: in one package with an oblong cap in another round. And which one is more comfortable for the hand or does not play a big role? Please answer!

Today I made myself a small New Year's present. I have long wanted a Pizza-grater ... but in the body there is a Trend, not a Classic, which heaps of. And today I came across a Rösti grater, the same Pizza, only in a Trend design. And only $ 6.

I'm so pleased.
I bought exactly this one for 50 rubles, but I thought it was pizza, and how are they different with Resti?

This is some kind of fabulous price, and this is for sure you have Berner?

Girls, please discard the link to Berner's German website, where you ordered.

Pizza is in the Classic body (for us), Rösti is in the Trend body (for Europe, mainly, since there is a popular Swiss recipe for baked potatoes “Rösti”).

And the price is really very small for Berner, but pleasant, I admit it.

Then I am doubly happy And, do not believe it, I now use the Trend every day, although the Classics lay ... Apparently the Trend is mine

This is cool! Congratulations!
I, too, My trend is very cute. I want to replace the Classic waffle with a trend one (and I will have everything Trend). And I'll give the Classic to my girlfriend, or something ...

Oh, Xun, don't rush! Compare them well first. They say that Trend-Wafelka wins a purely external comparison over the Classics, it is supposedly inferior in work.

Which fruit holder is more convenient: with a round hat or an oval one?
You know, I saw your question earlier, I was even surprised, I did not think that they are of different types. Googled, yes, exactly, different. I have a round one. I'm comfortable. The point is that no one answered. I just think there are no people here who have used both one and the other holder, everyone has one and they are used to their own. Everyone will say it's convenient. Of course, there is still a possibility that someone has used both, but you see, so far he has not read your question, if this someone is there at all.
makabusha
I was also surprised by the question /, I had no idea that the fruit holders are different. I looked at my own and could not determine its shape exactly, it can be called both round and oval. If anyone dug up pictures - in the studio, I wonder the same.

I join! Interesting. I kind of oval.
Mona1
So I found one, I have another, the protruding part itself is round, and this one is diamond-shaped. Taken from the Borner site.

Today I went to the store to buy a pizza-grater (I want to try a fur coat on it), then I looked at the fruit holders. I so understood that with a round hat in shredders released earlier (on the box in German it says: 53 years ..., 54). And on those that are written 55 years old - there is an oval (diamond-shaped), even in the Classics. These were only in VIP and Prime.
Yes, of course, in order to answer me - you have to try those and those. Thanks everyone!
Happy New Year girls!

I have both fruit holders, round (old) and oval (new). They are both equally comfortable.

On the packaging of my Trend, the slogan is about 55 years old, and the fruit holder is round, like Mona's.

Probably all the same t. Gray. And inserts in black boxes.

Nope, Olyushka, everyone is the same, in German. By the way, I threw out the packaging from the Trend set, but I have another one in reserve.

no, there is everywhere about Berner, which he is great and I also had a certificate attached

Girls, 2 packages have arrived !! 2 still on the road ...
And I, as for evil, went to visit my mother for 4 holidays ... by train ... I'm sitting there collecting bags ... I've already driven my car ... in general, if my husband arrives early and agrees to give me a lift to the delivery service, and I have time to pick up the parcel before the moment of departure, then theoretically I could bring some of the orders to Kiev (the train leaves from Kiev at 21.23, we go to Kiev by minibus with Chernigov)
Why am I, women from Kiev who made an order for graters, show up !! So that I could see someone to take what, if it works out, and who of you could drive up to the railway station in the evening at around 21.00 or to the forest at around 20.30.

I'll be back home on January 9, maybe by this time the other 2 parcels will appear, then I will send the mailing to everyone else.

Hello! I wanted to give my wife a Berner grater for the New Year.
Hello girls, I am the same wife whose husband chose the grater. Now I am "trend-oriented"! Thank you all for your help in choosing! I am so pretty !!! : yahoo: Here I am learning a little. I just rubbed a whole cartoon pot of potatoes on a casserole on a knifeless one. I think now, but to buy more for it? And where to store it? Now, if I buy a multibox and just a box for attachments, it will be convenient (with the expectation that I will buy something else later)? Or just a cheap box from Epicenter? Yes, one of the girls wrote that the nozzle is 7 mm. dangles, here and I somehow stand wobbly, although everything clicked as it should. In general, you still have my Mercy !!! And advise my husband something else for his beloved wife, please. And all a Merry Christmas!
Arnica
Girls! I have a problem: I unpacked the grater today, and on insert 3.5, several front blades are bent. I'm shocked! I bought two graters from a representative. One is normal, and the other is with marriage. And now what i can do?

Strongly curved? there are some a little on the corner, as it were. Photo would. Or is it really a marriage?
Creamy
If they are bent, then you will be able to bend them to their normal position. Only carefully so as not to get injured.
Arnica
Very curved. Not just a tilt, but crushed. I think that you cannot bend them yourself. I'll go to the store to show it tomorrow. Maybe in the morning I'll take a picture and show you.

Contact the representative from whom you purchased. Berner graters have 5 years warranty. Anyway, that's what Berner's representative in Israel told me, from whom I bought.

Olyushka, I really sympathize! If I were in such a situation, I would only have to sprinkle ashes on my head - in our small town it is not always possible to buy something in a store, I have to go to the Internet. And exchange with him, you know what it is. Hope the sellers' prudence before Christmas does not evaporate.

Thank you. I hope that everything will be fine .
I just didn't open the store, because I took it as a gift. I thought that once it was packed, then everything is fine. But it turns out that it was not lucky.
Olya, do you still have your receipt? And then they may balk, they say, we see they say, for the first time you and your grater.
Sandy
If the packaging was apparently intact, then this is most likely a factory defect.

They don't give a check, there is no cash register. I called up with the owner of Mr., she promised to fix the situation. There is nothing to change, only white ones remained. In general, I'm waiting for the 8th and hope for the best.

Ol, if it is white, then before the first use, I heard that you need to wipe it with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil, then it will be less painted from carrots and beetroot. I don't know how true this is. What I know for sure is that oiled oil can be erased well.

I read on the forum that you can rub it with oil, but I want orange. Carrots still give a color that is not washable, it seems to me ...

good luck in the exchange, no nail, so to speak, no tire
orange, of course, is prettier if you want orange - and get orange, you don't need to take white, if you don't like it, it's better to take the money and buy later (I think so)
Arnica
Thank you all for your participation and advice on the unsuccessful grater. Everything ended well. Today they returned the money, because there were no orange ones, and they have not yet made an order.
Now, please tell me where to order in Ukraine, so that the real one is.

I bought from them, I called Lily. Set Trend + 1.6mm + 10mm + plug. Everything is fine, it came quickly.
P.S. There was no check!

Then you are probably in German ebey. There's a lot of Berner there too. I read at the Odessa forum how they ordered from there, everything was original. If necessary, I will look for a reference to the Odessa forum.
Slastena
Girls: rose: today I ordered a 10 mm insert and Baby and Pizza and a box for inserts. Little by little I master, kotsat rings normally turns out, but the bars which 3.5 are obtained from me: crazy: how to say, in general the crocodile tore and spit out, which cut through, and which as "snake tongue" cubes generally dark forest And a bucket multi-box so and did not find the adapted basket until the square in a whisper (it was temporarily taken away from the child)
marinastom
Trouble, trouble, chagrin! The day before yesterday I dismissed a decent piece of finger along with a carrot by 7.5. I didn't even notice how! And there was still a decent amount of carrots, apparently, a bit bent, not very plump. And I listened to all of you, and read the instructions, and still caught contact.
But I love the grater anyway.
