Question to Tanyuleas the owner of cuckoos and ourson.
So which is better, a cuckoo or a student? Are there advantages of one over the other?
Tanyulya
If we compare Cuckoo 1054 and Oursonchik, Ourson wins with a lid and a valve, and he wins a lot.
I can say for sure at the moment I like Ourson much more.
The bowl is good, as of course it will be in operation in a year or two ... I won't say, but now it is good.
I like the heating element better, it is less aggressive.
Love the removable lid and the handy valve that can be easily cleaned and rinsed. The bowl and the sealing gum are also very easy to clean. The functionality is good, the program algorithm is well thought out. While I really like everything
Compared to 1010, Oursson has more functionality, but the cup still seems to me in 1010 much stronger and better (in general, of all MV, the cup in 1010 is the best)
I am currently using Oursson, Brand and Cuckoo 1010.
There will be more questions, I will try to answer.

Please tell me where who gets the recipes for this multicooker? Maybe with some others it is similar in time and cooking modes?

Any recipes, I adjust according to Ourssonchik purely on a whim, as well as everything I cook, it is very difficult for me to adhere to the exact recipe.

Hello! There is absolutely no time to read your forum, although I really want to. Please answer, only this model of Orson can cook without pressure? And yet - can you bake bread on it? I called on the phone from their website - they say bread no, no, and only like a couple of programs without pressure. Is meat possible at 0 pressure? Sorry if stupid questions, I was never interested in pressure cookers, but this brand attracts, but they just don't have MV ...
Admin
If you cook without pressure at all, then buy about Panasonic, meat and soups will cook for 2-3 hours.
The pressure just speeds up the cooking process!

In this model, it is possible to combine modes with and without pressure on one program. You can cook without pressure, but it depends. Now I'm making jam without pressure. You can cook porridge without pressure.

It is necessary to gain experience by myself and determine what and with what pressure to cook or without it.

You can use the recipe book to decide what and how to cook, with what mode and pressure, and spy on our recipes for a start

I like this model

Tatiana has already answered. This model cooks with and without pressure. Which I really like.I baked products from the dough, it cannot be called classic bread, but it is tasty and the crumb is good, which is somewhat similar to sieve bread.
I really like this shortcut.

I have Visconte instead of Panas. I just read here on the forum that meat in a pressure cooker is harmful - protein somehow changes badly under pressure ... And I have to cook a lot of meat unfortunately. Are the other two Oursons only being prepared under pressure, or can you also choose?

I also thought, maybe Redmond stainless steel bowls and ECO bowls are suitable for your CF?

Girls, please tell me, I saw a bowl on Tanyulya's video, and she had a kind of bulge - a tubercle at the bottom - is that so, or it seemed to me. And if so, how do you bake biscuits, for example?
I want to replace my Italian pressure cooker, read Temki on SV, choose. I already wanted to take Brand, but here you are so praising yours, I really don't even know what to take.
And yet, maybe I missed something, do you have spare rings and bowls for your SV? It seems that I saw in the video how Tanyulya took out two rings from the box, do they immediately come in the set? I watched without a sound, maybe there are explanations, I don't know
Thanks everyone!

The biscuit was baked with a small bulge, but it's okay, somehow, I didn't bother on this topic.
At the expense of rings, I apologize for misleading, these are rings for Brand.
There is no information yet about cups and rings for Oursson.
I don't know about the Italians, but I like Oursson.
I have to ask Koshatnitsa, she seems to be smoothly replacing Italian with Oursson.
By the way, I am very pleased with the brand.
Admin
There is a tubercle, but it is very small and does not interfere. The bump is located under the pan, this is a shadow button, the pan is placed on it in this depression at the bottom.

I can't say anything about spare pots, I bought them in the online store. Instead of a plastic ring like Brand's, here the plastic elastic is curly, bends well, washes at once.
And just do very easy maintenance of the device, especially the lid.

Now I was making jam, so when cooking with the lid closed, it did not rise above the 1/2 pot mark, and the lid is completely clean, only it became sticky from sweet fumes, washed it already and became clean.

In Italian, the saucepan is just g ... ... but, it has long died, I cook a hedgehog in it for the dogs, I replaced it with a Land Life saucepan for a long time, the saucepan from OUrson is no comparison. The Italian did not stand next to her either. But all the same, for two years she served faithfully, I do not advise buying it, everyone who has it speaks of a bad saucepan.

And when cooking in a saucepan under the lid, the protein does not curl up? Is it not harmful?

Yesterday I cooked mushroom broth on meat under pressure, it turned out so transparent and amber in color - beauty!

Our saucepan is good, heavy, flat with handles

And just in general, the whole multicooker is so neat, and looks small on the stove

Well, this is not my idea about the harmfulness of cooking meat under pressure, it was not written about protein folding, but somehow connected with oncology (of course, with what else). And other people's cockroaches always crawl into my head. But your saucepan is so super-duper, maybe they are separate, that would be to buy. Well, first, of course, try on what else is suitable.

* JOKINGLY * Yes, I know that, and I wrote "I want to replace my Italian", they don't seem to be sold anymore. I still have a saucepan, but I only cook milk porridge and sweet pastries in it, but the wheel has become glitchy - it scrolls.
So now I'm thinking, which is better, Ourson or Brand?

So after all, the question is that your saucepans are perhaps the most worthy, this is serious. Only not all the bells and whistles of your MV are needed by everyone, but you have to pay for them - or refuse the most worthy pots. Now, if they could be shoved into the MV easier ...

And you look at the scoreboard of our multicooker, on the menu, read our recipes and look at which buttons we press at the same time, at what pressure we cook (sometimes at 0), and then draw conclusions about what is needed and what is not needed.
Personally, I'm happy with all the modes so far, I've even cooked jam, which you can't cook in any multicooker!

If we talk about the price: Panasonic costs about the same, but only a multicooker! Ours works for the same price in three modes: with pressure, without pressure, in combined mode.

Oh, Romochka, I forgot to write. On the "frying" program I fried mushrooms and onions for 15 minutes, fried with the lid open. Then I added pearl barley 1/2 multi-cup washed, 2 chopped potatoes, 2 chicken legs (from homemade chicken), greens, black peppercorns, water, and 40 minutes for the "cooking" program. I filled it with water above the specified maximum level, when I opened it, the lid was clean! The broth is transparent, everything is perfectly cooked, even the pearl barley, but not boiled, just as I love. A little later, before the evening, I promise to show the photo

The pressure put up a three and ran away on business, the soup boiled remarkably well without me.

More - not less! It should be noted that the 4.5-liter bowl should be almost half full, there is a mark inside. Do not cook a whole piece of meat in a small saucepan!

I also cook for 2-4 servings, practically for 2 days and for 2 people, that's enough for us.

I do not dare to wash the pan in the dishwasher, I protect the coating from aggressive cleaning agents in the dishwasher. The pot is easy to clean by hand.
There are no problems with the lid, after cooking it is completely clean, I have shown this in my recipes several times.

Oursson MP5005PSD multicooker-pressure cooker - reviews and discussion

Therefore, washing the lid in the dishwasher is not worth it, just a light wash in water under the tap, under running water.

This is probably the only pressure cooker that does not stain the lid after cooking, and the appliance cooks very well in several modes, and they can be combined.

Fresh cabbage soup with mushrooms in Oursson pressure cooker

The range of products and the principle of preparation is the same as on the stove in a saucepan.

1.roasting vegetables in the BAKING mode, then turning off the mode (onions, carrots, sweet peppers, red tomatoes).

2. add meat, porcini mushrooms, potatoes, cabbage, herbs, water, turn on the BOIL mode, time 1 hour, pressure 2 and bring to readiness.

Since the meat I had was beef brisket, cut into portions, so I set the time to 60 minutes, pressure 2 (medium).

After readiness, the device emits a signal, and then additional time is needed to release the pressure. I relieved the pressure manually. The meat was well cooked, soft - you could set the default time to 40 minutes.

I bought through a Moscow online store, delivery by courier for 3 days from the order, payment of the entire amount to the courier, it was convenient for me. I checked everything in front of the courier, then I just paid, all the warranty coupons were filled in. Delivery cost 450 rubles. Loved this store. I will drop the link to the store in a personal, if something is not clear, but write, I will answer.

So this is my photo is shown I'm fine with the pan and with the lid

It is advisable to immediately give a photo with the marriage and describe in more detail, and not like this: he shouted and fell silent, without a photo And I just can't imagine what can be done with the lid so that the plastic on it melts, if only hold it over an open fire for a long time

And the lid in Brand strains me: I'm tired of catching the ring in the pan, although they changed it for me, but the problem remains

Well, then, apparently, an examination is needed. Went, looked at the lid from all sides again, I don't understand what could have affected? But I have already tried it on different modes, including baking, I often use it, here the heating is strongest, but it does not rise above 150 *, mainly at 135 * frying goes on, less than in cuckoo.

Hello, members of the forum!
I looked at this topic, and became interested in this model. I have two Panasonic, and I love them dearly.
But I also want a MV pressure cooker. I looked closely at Mulinex, and was about to buy it, when I found this model on the internet.
Now I am suffering with a choice.
For me, the determining factor will be the volume / capacity of the soup that can be cooked under pressure? Can you please tell me how much of it can be prepared in maximum displacement under pressure? Is it possible to violate and what could be the consequences of a larger volume? otherwise my family is big, and 3 liters of soup (as I found somewhere) is not enough for us ...
Serious, as I understand it, has both ourson and moulinex. I would be glad to compare the volumes of these cartoons. Maybe someone else has both of these beauties?
thanks in advance

Why take the risk and ignore the manufacturer's recommendations? There is a large MAXIMUM mark on the pot inside, probably it was not done in vain. Otherwise, you will have to contact the service, and this is no longer a warranty case.
It's better then to have a larger pressure cooker, or put two at once for cooking.

I did not break the cooking volume, this is enough for me Cooking perfectly, does not rise above the level of the mark at high pressure, milk does not escape, the lid is always clean, the valve works normally, it is convenient to wash - why then violate the manufacturer's instructions
Tanyulya
Odri, as the girls already wrote above, I pour water to the maximum mark and there is enough soup, especially since the soup is so fast, convenient and .. it turns out deliciously that it is not difficult to cook it again. Good luck to you

Interestingly, but in Redmond I have a useful volume of 4 liters with a 5-liter bowl, probably because the maximum mark is not in the middle of the bowl (like here) but almost at its edge, a few centimeters from the edge. Is there less pressure?

The maximum mark is 2/3 of the pot height here.I will tell you how much goes into the pan in the evening, now the pan is busy.

And it is better when the mark is located lower, and not a few centimeters from the edge, this ensures that the liquid does not rise high and does not trample through the valve.
And the pressure has nothing to do with it! There are technological moments when the liquid begins to boil during cooking, in different cooking modes, which is fraught with the emission of steam and liquid through the valve.

And you can cook here in 4 VALVE modes - no pressure, low, medium, high! And to regulate the pressure during cooking, it does not close tightly, and is easily adjusted by the engine!

And the valve is our EVERYTHING! The valve clogs - hana to the device! That is why I choose the open valve cover today and to be removable! It was convenient to wash and care for!
Odri
Thanks for answers !
Why pour more than recommended? - so that there is more soup, I have 4 men at home + myself, and if someone wants additives, then 2.8 liters of soup will not be enough ... I cook stewing in my Panasonic above the mark on the program - everything is fine

Panasonic has a completely different structure and purpose of the device - MULTI-COOKER! The multicooker prepares without pressure and very slowly, at low temperatures, so there is no liquid movement in the Stew mode, therefore it does not boil away, and you can allow more than the mark to be poured into the pan.

The multicooker-pressure cooker has a different cooking principle, it is fraught with boiling over here!
