Did you cover the baking sheet with something? I lay baking paper, since the dough is very sticky, and lightly coat it with vegetable oil. And after baking (at least 30 minutes) I let it cool down and only then I remove the paper, it sticks a little to the finished stripes.
And "Hercules" I have the most usual long cooking.
Try it again, maybe it will work, because these stripes are very tasty (and I amuse myself with the hope that they are low in calories).
