Cookies Nan Bukhara

Ingredients

flour 200 g
sugar 90 g
butter 40 g
eggs 1 PC
sour cream 45 g
candied orange 70 g
roasted almonds 30 g
baking powder 2 tsp

Cooking method

  • Combine room temperature butter, sugar, sour cream, egg and grind until sugar dissolves. Chop candied peas and almonds not too finely. I used a blender, but chopped them separately. Add to mixture and mix well. In a separate bowl, combine the sifted flour and baking powder. Combine both mixtures and knead the dough for 1 minute. It will not turn out liquid, but also not tight, very sticky. With wet hands, take a walnut-sized piece of dough and mold into small, flattened buns. Place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 220 * C for 15 minutes. Cool in a cup under a towel, store in a bag.

Note

I found the recipe for this cookie in Kengis's book "Homemade cakes, pastries, cookies, gingerbread, pies". Changed it slightly, therefore the name remained the same. The original should contain less flour, any nuts and candied fruits, raisins, and soda instead of baking powder. I had Cookies Nan Bukhara

baked for 25 minutes, the top is really light, the bottom is dry, but it turned out crispy, and the top is soft, probably it should be, in general, it's boring and very quick and easy to make, and I will chop candied fruits next time with a blender together with nuts, otherwise I was too lazy to chop them finely so it didn't work out nicely

And I really chopped candied fruits and nuts in a blender, only separately and not too finely. It was necessary to clarify in the recipe. And yet, the cookies for this recipe, in my opinion, are better baked at a higher temperature, but for less time, otherwise they will turn out to be too dry (my first cookies could have been killed).
