Hello! Help me choose a baby multicooker for travel. 2-3 liters. You need to know how to stew, bake, steam (always with a full basket). It is desirable to have a removable top cover (or whatever it is called), Teflon coating. There is an old Panasonic 10, but I want something more modern.
Manna
kat-rin-ka, for 2 liters with a basket - this is Redmond 01, but the coating is ceramic; 2 liters with a very good non-stick coating, but without a basket - Philips 3060.

There are absolutely babies for 1.6 liters: redmond 02, but the lid is non-removable, steam stand, non-stick coating and binaton 2116, steam basket, removable cover, non-stick coating.

3L for travel is not a lot? Phillips 3134, there is a steam basket, an excellent non-stick coating, a seed lid, but the mode for rice and cereals fails - it leaves liquid at the end of the mode, but cereals can also be cooked on stewing (if the rest of the device suits the device). Sigmund and Stein 31, non-stick coating, steam basket, removable lid, but I don't really know about its functionality. Binaton 2130 - no display, ceramic bowl (but good), steam basket, non-removable lid. Brand 701, steam basket, there are bowls with poor ceramic coating and a good non-stick, removable lid, the richest functionality among the treshki. Maybe she forgot.
kat-rin-ka
Manna, thank you very much! You gave me this list, I didn't expect it. It turns out there is plenty to choose from
I bow to Redmond 01, I just like it all. Except for the ceramic bowl, be it wrong. My ceramics in Polaris 0517 began to burn in 2 weeks, although I handled it properly, took care of it. Now I'm afraid of ceramics.
Manna
kat-rin-ka, everyone has a different way with "ceramics". If properly cared for, it will last longer.

KateAre you going to travel by car? See how Marina managed to feed a family of five with Redmond RMC - 01. They traveled half of Russia

From Europe to Asia (rally with a multicooker Redmond MRC -01) (Mar_k)

Choosing a slow cooker, pressure cooker, rice cooker (2)

kat-rin-ka
Biryusa, read Marina's report, and he inspired me to buy a mini-multi. Still, I love homemade food and cannot eat in eateries, and I also have a son of 2 years old.
But we're not going by car. The train is likely. I wonder if there is where to turn on the multicooker on the train? It would be totally awful!

Wow, this certainly confirms that multicooker uses little electricity, or in particular Redmond, who knows. I once saw a journey of people to Baikal, so they cooked on another device, I did not even think that it was possible to start a multicooker with such power

Subcompact power:
Philips 3060 - 2L - 330W (you can quickly fry)
Redmond 01 - 2L - 350W (frying is very long, weak - more baked than fried)
Redmond 02 - 1.6L - 400W (active frying)
Urson 0707 - 1L - 400W (rice cooker)
Binaton 2116 - 1.6L - 430W (frying is more active than in 01)
Vitek 4202 - 1.6L - 430W

I ask for advice on choosing a modern multicooker-pressure cooker. Priorities - the volume of the bowl is not less than 5 liters, the speed of preparation, a good bowl in a set (preferably with ceramics). I plan to spend no more than 15-17 thousand money.
gala10
Lefon, Shteba. An additional bowl is not included, but you can purchase both ceramic and Teflon. The set includes steel.
Lefon
gala10,
Thanks for the advice. Is it comparable in cooking speed to the Redmond 190 (I heard that one of the fastest multi-cooker pressure cookers)?
What else can you recommend besides Šteba? It is also desirable that the valve can be remotely opened. Maybe there is something modern with convenient control from a tablet or smartphone?
gala10
I didn’t compare Steba with anything. It suits me perfectly.

Are you not afraid of the consequences of such a remote valve opening?

Why exaggerate so much? ))) I meant the button on the unit itself. On my Mule 4000 I have already got this valve, which I have to open with a long spoon ...
Manna
From devices with remote control there is a pressure cooker Polaris EVO EPMC 0125. It is similar to 0124, only as a supplement - wi-fi control. Redmond has only multicooker, there are no such pressure cookers.
Lefon
Manna,
What can you say about this Polaris model?
Manna
Lefon, there is a topic about this model, there are only 5 pages. We discussed it, but since then I was no longer interested in it. You can read HERE.

Hello!
Guys, please help me choose the first slow cooker.

What do you need:
- budget up to 7000 rubles (approximately)
- it is highly desirable to be able to turn off the auto-heating in advance after the program is completed, because I do not like overcooked, overfilled (I can unplanned leave for half a day)
- crumbly rice (or is it not in a slow cooker?); I cook dairy-free porridge the rest.
- so that you can leave the device and go for a walk with your child for a long time, without worrying that something will run away (I read somewhere comments about food running away :)
- we do not eat meat and fish, so we will mainly cook vegetable stews, soups, legumes, stewed cabbage, cereals (we like crumbly)
- normally baked baked goods - I don't plan to make delicious biscuits in MV, but at least a casserole, a simple charlotte.
- reliability. Not very much in Crimea, as far as I can imagine, the situation with service centers and components, so it is desirable that nothing breaks for a long time))

I am considering Phillips, Redmonds, Panasonic (in what kind of marriage was there, so as not to buy it?), Perhaps some time-tested good early models that can still be found on sale. Maybe other brands, it doesn't matter ...

Thank you so much who will answer!
Merri
divlesika, in my opinion, the Braun 520 multicooker possesses all the requirements stated by you,
which I have been using for over a year. I cook, carcass, fry, bake in it, leave food from early morning until late evening heated and without, everything is perfect.
divlesika
MerriThanks, I really haven't seen Brown's multicooker. Maybe you meant Brand 502??
lora111
I hesitate between buying Shteba and OURSSON MP5010PSD. For a family of 2, a child will appear in the fall. Which of these two is more appropriate?

divlesika, there are always risks, as there is always a chance to get married. It all depends solely on your luck. Panasonic does not have a preliminary shutdown of heating. Some Phillips have it, almost all Redmond, Polaris, Brand ... The friability of rice depends solely on you, on the proportion of rice: water, the degree of rice washing, etc. Milk in multicooker can run, dairy-free porridges run extremely rarely - only if the cereal is not washed at all and / or the multicooker overheats - the thermal sensor fails (I have seen this in reviews of Redmond multicooker), such a sensor needs to be changed. By the way, Brand 502 also has to change the temperature sensors (their company sends them by mail and gives a video instruction on how to replace them). Do you need a volume of 5 liters? Or three is enough? I like Brand 701 for three liters, but only with a new non-stick bowl, all dairy-free modes work correctly, the most maneuverable treshka. There is much more choice for five liters. I don’t know what to say about redmods - there’s a high probability of marriage. Phillips are more reliable in this regard, but no one is insured either. If Philips, then these are the latest models, since the heating is turned off beforehand only in them (in previous models, do not turn it off in advance). I have already said about Panasonic.

The one that you like best.
divlesika
Manna, thank you very much!!
A bowl of 4-5 liters is needed, although ... while I think and doubt whether it will not be enough for us not a family of two adults and a child
What if Brand 701 versus Phillips 3134?
And what is your personal opinion on the Polaris PMC 0517AD?
And according to Panasonic, if they do not have automatic heating, but in terms of reliability and confident performance of their tasks - how are they in general?
Manna
divlesika, Brand 701 and Philips 3134 are completely different multicooker. The Philips bowl is excellent, but the mode for cooking cereals is out of order. Brand has a mediocre cup, but it is as functional as possible.
My good opinion about Polaris 0517.
Panasonic has auto-heating, it does not turn off in advance. Old Panasonic (barrel-shaped) do an excellent job, and new ones, those that are white, with "glitches". What kind of Panasonic are you interested in?
divlesika
I don’t use the current Panasonic, I know that their first 10 and 18 were cool. Somewhere your comment noticed that you like SR-MHS181, but I don’t remember what already I just have some kind of fantasy that they should be solid and thoughtful, since those first ones were reliable But I don’t rest against Panasonic, more even Phillips ))

I identified the following models in my budget:
3067
3158
3137
3136

They also have off. auto heating? and in which other porridge fails? Perhaps I need to choose the cooking time, what kind of porridge mode is not suitable for the preset or stewing ..

And if from Brands for 5 liters - what would you advise? Still, I worry that three will not be enough. We have guests
And in general, what is better this Polaris or choose from Brands 5L. analogue? hihi, probably abstract question))

Yes, they have it skycooker m800s, but it costs one and a half times cheaper than ordinary multicooker, only in the appendix there is a base of 3000 recipes and the application with which Polaris has nothing to compare.

Polaris is a more functional model than Brand 502. Brand has no other multicooker for 5 liters, only a pressure cooker.

And what does porridge mean? What are you talking about? About the regime for complete evaporation of liquid? For new models, as I understand it, this mode is adjusted (but I judge by the model 3197 - it also has VitaPlus technology - top model). In general, I do not know well the new models such as 3158, 3137, 3136. But in 3067, the auto-heating is not switched off beforehand. 3137 and 3136 differ only in volume (one for 4, the other for 5 liters) and color. In models with VitaPlus technology (3158, 3136 and 3137) double heating element - the bowl heats up faster, the bottom warms up more evenly. They also have a good temperature range: "For baking, you can choose between 40 ° C and 160 ° C, and for multi-cook, between 30 ° C and 160 ° C (in 10 ° C increments)." For all three models, auto-heating is disabled. The 3158 has a richer choice of modes, but the modes in the 3136 and 3137 will be enough. Another difference between the 3158 is that it has a sensor control, while the 3136 and 3137 have a push-button control. All three have bowls with handles and a "ceramic" coating (I liked this coating in both 3095 and 3197). Don't like the "ceramic" coating? You can buy a cup from Phillips with a non-stick coating from Daikin (very resistant). They are available for both 4 and 5 liters. As I understand it, the plate and the lid itself are not removable.

About Panasonic ... The old models really worked very well. Unfortunately, there are no new models without complaints. Even in the top 550, a marriage is found ... not for everyone, but there is such a problem. Panasonic is now changing bowls because of this marriage. These models are outside your budget. I spoke about SR-MHS181 in comparison with other white Panasonic (I mean the SR-DY series). But their auto-heating is not switched off in advance.

Don’t come up with it. Polaris 0125 and redmond 800 in the same price range - 10t. R.
Polaris is a pressure cooker, redmond is a multicooker.
And there are plenty of recipes in the applications, both there and there.

Manna, about failures - here you wrote, this is your word, I just thought, as in other models, are there any failures

3067 - there seems to be a shutdown of auto-heating, I saw it in several places on the internet - both in the comments and in the description. True, she found it, having climbed everything that is possible, only on M-Video, but they do not deliver to Crimea ((.

In general, my thinking consists of choosing Polaris 0517 for 4000 rubles (free delivery with Ozone) or Philips 3136 (for 7290 on the Philips website with free delivery I found). Manna, personally, what would you choose for the first time? ))
Manna
Yeah, I forgot, there is still Polaris 0225, also with wi-fi control, also a pressure cooker. But it is not on sale yet, as far as I know.

3067 - there seems to be a shutdown of auto-heating
Yes, yes, the 3067 has the ability to pre-disable the auto-heating. I was thinking something about 3037 ...

Quote: divlesika
While I'm leaning towards Polaris, because 5 liters (versus 3-liter Brand) and budget .. and there is on Ozone with free delivery to Crimea. Try it as it is in life. more than enough. And then either choose a better model over time, or the husband simply offers a new bowl, if anything, buy it ..
Sooner or later you will have to buy a cup, because 0517 has "ceramics", which starts to stick after some time.

Quote: divlesika

After a couple of minutes I found it for 7200 3136. So I think it's better to take Polaris or take this lusha
0517 (5L) is more functional (for example, you can adjust the time / temperature during cooking) than 3136 (4L). Both have ceramic bowls. I personally did not try the cup from 0517, I liked the coating of 3136 (by analogy with 3095 and 3197). In any case, it will be possible to buy an additional bowl. And here I can say that the Phillips' non-stick coated bowls are better than those of Polaris or Redmond (these bowls are also suitable for Polaris).
divlesika
oh, you already had time to reply while I was editing the above message. Oh, I don’t know what to do .. Is it possible in Philips to do this if during the cooking process it does not allow you to adjust: stop the program, restart it with new time parameters?
Manna
Quote: divlesika

Sure you may. This is exactly what we all do if we suddenly change our mind in the process. In general, this is rarely required.
divlesika
Manna, is it still worth overpaying 3000 for Philips (if you do not take into account only the cup)? I'm at a crossroads
Mirabel
Manna, Mannochka, advise me too. you are welcome!
I've been licking my lips for a long time at the soon-available multicooker-smokehouse. As I understood them, there are only 3 types of Brand, Vitesse and Unit.
And which of them is the best?
I can't find anything like this on Ibeys and Amazons, I'll have to ask someone to bring or send, of course, if something goes wrong, I can't use a guarantee either. I want to protect myself as much as possible from surprises in the form of breakdowns and defects.
Manna
divlesika, it's up to you to decide what is more important to you. I described everything I could in detail to you. And then the choice is yours. I don't dictate to others what to do.

Oh, Vikulya... Well, how can I answer. The producers are then all three "nuptial". Here the risk is quite big, you yourself understand. I remember that the girls from the Unit topic said that Unit had improvements to Brand's inconveniences. I have already said somewhere that I am looking at a large oval Vites for 8 liters, and if I didn’t have Brand, I would have bought it because of its volume and shape - it is more convenient for fish. But the reliability of all these models can only be hoped for.
Mirabel
Manna, Thank you Mannochka! I found on Ibei British: yahoo: well, exactly like yours and bowls 2.

Today I went to the store, Polaris and 3158 Philips were also available. From Phillips - you can't take your eyes off)))
Manna
divlesika, well, the main thing here is that the device should please you. And the choice happened by itself.
divlesika
Manna, is there a fundamental difference in power or not? in 3136 I found that 650W, and a little more expensive multicooker 3158 980W.
Manna
They have the same power - 980 watts.
divlesika
Yes, I already found a mistake on Phillips. ru - 980 costs, but in their store for some reason 650.
Manna
There are often power errors in the store.
divlesika
All right. I ordered it at the office. website 3136 Thank you very much, you Manna, for your patience and recommendations!
Manna
divlesika, may everything turn out well, and the multicooker will only delight you! Good luck!

Hello! Tell me please, does Shteba really constantly pick up after cooking, when it is in the heating mode? I read this in the reviews, either every 10 seconds, or 10 minutes, I don't remember exactly. This is true?
butova27
Good day everyone! I want to ask for help. I decided to buy a multicooker, after reading the forum, I realized that a multicooker-pressure cooker is better. The budget is small. Let's say up to 3000 rubles. Technique is needed to free up time. That is, I'm going to cook soup, stew, maybe porridge. I'm not planning any gourmet dishes yet. I realized that Shteba is the best, but the price is high. And I'm afraid that suddenly I won't make friends with the multicooker. Therefore, I decided, maybe first an inexpensive one to try. Can you advise which of the inexpensive models? I’m completely confused. While reading, I changed the choice 20 times. Thanks in advance to everyone.
P.S. Redmond, I don't want Polaris. The experience with these firms has not been positive.
