How does it feel?

Reheating food evenly in a short period of time, for example. Even in an expensive microwave from the Samsung terribly infuriates that sometimes you have to heat it up a second time, since everything seems to be hot from above, and from below - the nifiga has not warmed up. Or with banal cooking - pilaf, pasta in a navy way - everything is baked, fried, evaporated evenly, nothing burns from the bottom and does not remain raw on top, as in cheap models, which I read about on a multicooker when choosing an option for myself.

Judging by how much they do not like Redmond here, all this will immediately be attributed to the holy spirit or something else. But hardly anyone will reproach me for promoting a brand, since, for example, I chose a bread maker purely by parameters, and not because of bells and whistles, brands and price tag - and described it, and suggested and created recipes. And not one ... even said thank you, by the way. Although, besides me, no one wrote anything about her on the site at all. Oh, yes, then only in PM they asked what and how, if the admins confirmed it. Firework!

I have not noticed such unevenness in any of my multicooker (not every one has this 3D), even in the cheapest one.

Who told you that? We do not like Redmond, but the policy of this company in relation to potential consumers. And the Redmond multicooker ... yes, there are joint ones, yes, with marriage. The same 250th. But it is not marriage that happens. For example, many beloved babies 01 and 02.

Manna, just a month ago, my friend's little Redmond broke down. It's terribly insulting: I gave her so that she could make porridge, mashed potatoes and yoghurts for her daughter. She worked for less than a year, and just one of the programs stopped working for her. It is at that moment when the cub already needs to cook a lot of different things. And the "senior" Redmond also did not live a year with another friend. Here are how many multi-cookers around, from the cheapest ones bought in Auchan to the most expensive ones - all have been working flawlessly for several years already, namely the Redmond ones have broken down. Something is still wrong with them.

Cure, what is 3D heating?

Well, this is already the jokes? Then google to help!
Total...
Manna
What kind of jokes are there? Maybe I don't understand well what 3D heating is in the 250th model? Maybe there is real 3D, but I don't even know about it? All 3D that I am familiar with is an ordinary heating element disc under the bowl from below and a tiny spiral in the lid for drying condensate, it is not designed for anything else, it does not affect the uniformity of heating, baking-frying-evaporation at all. The uniformity of heating can be provided by a heating element of the borok type (it is induction in the form of a bowl) with a thick bowl or at least a conventional heating element, but with the same thick bowl (like Stadler, the latest Philips models), which heats up longer, but cools down longer , maintaining the temperature more evenly. Everything else is heating the bottom of the bowl and distributing it over the thin aluminum walls. There is no heating from above and cannot be with such a device design.
Miranda
Arguments "better is more expensive" reminded me of going for a multicooker in early January

She brought to life the fear of all multicooker owners - she poured water into her Brand 701 without putting the bowl first. Some kind of eclipse has found.I was terribly upset, and without a multicooker, I couldn't. I decided to buy another one and went to a large techno store.

I chose, I ask the consultant to get the box to go with it to the checkout. So I say: "Please give me this multicooker", pointing to the selected model in the display case. And the consultant replies: "This is not a slow cooker." At first I did not understand, I thought I was wrong, I showed it to the wrong place, I say, I don’t know where it stands, but this one. And he continues: "This is not a multicooker, a multicooker is Redmond, or another company, but from 15 thousand, and everything below 15 thousand and all sorts of Philips-Panasonic are fakes." I turned around and left, offended that I did not accept his advice. I had to look for and get the box myself.

And 701, by the way, after two weeks of drying, tried to start it - it was dry and works fine for 2.5 months after the incident.

The surcharge for a promoted brand, as a symbol of quality and magic, is the best wiring of the last 50 years in consumer marketing.

Tanyulya, Tatyana, good afternoon.
I am to you for advice, because you are the chief expert of technology. I have a multicooker-pressure cooker, I am very happy with it. But now the moment has come, I miss her. I need a multicooker specifically for baking biscuits and for pilaf. Please, advise me a slow cooker in which the biscuit turns out to be very fluffy and the pilaf is crumbly. Thank you in advance.

Hello! Help me choose a multicooker !!! What features are needed? Which ones can you do without? Do you need manual mode? Well, I just can't choose what I need. I will be very grateful for any information.
Manna
stusya, if the multicooker has well-established modes, then the multi-cooker will be superfluous. Especially if this is the first multicooker. Therefore, the presence of a multi-cook is not a criterion for selection, if there is, then it can be taken as a bonus. The main functions of the multicooker are stewing, cooking soups, cereals (do you eat milk porridge?), Cooking cereals for a side dish (for this, you can use both sensory modes - for complete evaporation of the liquid, and time-controlled modes - I usually put on rice 30 minutes) , frying (Do you need frying?). In general, the tasks of a multicooker depend on your eating habits. Accordingly, the choice of the model depends entirely on your preferences. It is also important to understand the price niche (what budget is allocated for this device). How many people are you planning to cook for, one or more times?

Thank you! How much power should it be? What is the cover of the bowl?
Manna
Power is not so important, it usually has an average value for multi-cookers of the same volume, some more, some less. And I recommend a non-stick coating. If ceramic, then very good quality, since usually the ceramic coating quickly begins to stick. By the way, non-stick is also not very decent. The most successful bowls I came across from Philips, both non-stick coated from Daikin, and ceramic. Very good bowls at Stadler.
Rezlina
Manna, and did you have a multicooker Bork or Cuckoos by chance?
Tormented by choice
I have another Panasonic of the very first. I decided to update
Dislikes: the bowl is thin, easily scratched. In Borok, I really liked the bowl, though, I like the shape of my Panasonic biscuit better. But the lid is always dirty - it's inconvenient to wash.Especially, after buckwheat, it is difficult to wash the lid
What am I going to cook in it: meat, biscuits, porridge.
Manna
Elena, I have a Bork 600 multicooker. Kuku now has all pressure cookers (I don't really like pressure cookers). Yes, Bork has a great bowl. I did not bake anything in it. You are right, the shape of the bowl is not the best for baking. Meat and porridge are excellent in Bork. Like, Lisa-Vei baked a biscuit in it. As I remember, everything was successful.
Rezlina
Manna, I also liked how the lid of Bork closes and opens plump. And I thought that Kuku was cartoon too. It looks like a bork well, for me it's a dark forest But I think I don't need a pressure cooker.
You have so many cartoons in your signature. Maybe you can advise what to look for?
Manna
Quote: Rezlina

How do I know what exactly you need. You tell us what you want from the multicooker, and maybe then I can suggest something.
Rezlina
Manna, today looked at the cartoon Kitchen Aid in the store - funny :) As I understand it, she has the highest temperature of the cartoons -230!
I asked about Bork and Kuku - they said that Bork is also a pressure cooker, just like Cook Everything is prepared under pressure.
Maybe I misunderstood something, but you wrote that Bork is not a pressure cooker.
And what you need from multi: fry meat, cook porridge, bake biscuits. Well, that's the main thing :)
Manna
Elena, and about what Bork they asked? They also have pressure cookers and multicooker. U400, U500 and U600 are multicooker. The rest of the pressure cookers.
Quote: Rezlina
temperature from cartoon -230
And what is she for? Here at 150 ° C everything can burn, why 230 ° C? Not even all contact grills have this temperature. This is if only for setting the meat in a few seconds.

I am looking for a replacement for my Panasonic 18, which has worked faithfully for 6 years with almost daily use. Formally, he still works, but recently he has not finished a biscuit charlotte for 65 minutes. And each time after this time, it becomes thinner and thinner.
In my veteran, by and large, only two things don't suit me:
1) there is no possibility to regulate the temperature, but I want to use the suvid technology;
2) the charlotte is pale and damp on top, so it sticks to the plate when I turn it over, although the quality of the biscuit itself is beyond praise.
Reading about 3D heating in the descriptions, I dreamed that such multicooker would brown my baked goods from all sides. But...
Quote: Manna
3D heating is a tiny heating element in the lid that slightly reduces the amount of condensation on the lid when baking. Is this really a criterion for you to choose?
It turns out that this is not so?
Manna
Quote: Sailor suit

It turns out that this is not so?
No multicooker will blush the baked goods on top.

And for sous vide it is necessary that the temperature control be 1-5 ° C, but it is also important that the device maintains the temperature stably, without jumps. Shteby keep the temperature better than others.
Sailor suit
Manna, thanks. We argue further ...
Today I read about Shteba at work for half a day, but cooking under pressure does not interest me. I just want a multicooker.
Most often I cook in a multicooker:
1) Biscuit charlottes, which means that the "Baking" mode is VERY important
2) Meat (my husband loves literally disintegrating into fibers), at first I stewed it for a long time in Panasonic, and then fried it on "Pastry", it turned out very tasty, I want it to be no worse in the new one
3) Manty, which means we need "Steam cooking". And yes, 5 pieces were enough for me that fit in a steam pan. We actually love dumplings, but we cook them on the stove, and manti is lunch for one of my men.
4) All kinds of vegetable stews there, but I think any multicooker will cope with them.

I also want a high-quality 4-liter bowl, at least one touch mode for side dishes, non-escaping milk porridge (or am I asking too much? But in Panasonic, my porridge never ran away!),the ability to adjust the temperature for sous vide (the quality of maintaining the same set temperature is not the main requirement, I am not sure that I will often use this technology, perhaps I will try it once and calm down).

Upd. I did not find any information about Philips HD3136 / 03 on the forum. Which model does she look like the most?
Manna
Sailor suit, almost any slow cooker can stew meat for a long time, and then bake it slightly. Most modern multicookers have steam cooking. Stewing vegetable stews is similar. But porridge ... milk can run ... Well, baking is not obtained in all multicooker, especially in comparison with the first Panasonic. Quality bowls with a volume of 4 liters are Phillies and a stadler. Stadler has good baking, stewing, excellent touch modes, but there is no temperature control (do you really need them?). Well, he has a touchscreen mode for milk, sometimes there are failures (I write sometimes, because this problem is not massive, but it happens). Phillips on Pastry has temperature control in 10 ° C increments (i.e. 120 ° C, 130 ° C), biscuits are better baked by 120 ° C.

Philips HD3136 / 03. Which model does she look like the most?
The prototype is 3036, but 3136 has other modes, a different heating element. In general, this is now a different multicooker. I haven't seen her in action, so I can't say anything concrete about her.
Rezlina
Manna, I mean 800. I thought Bork had everything multi. And then a friend of mine says she bought a charlotte oven and casseroles, and they burn ... You just have to put something down. I understand correctly: in Bork 800 you won't get charlottes and casseroles?
Manna
Elena, bork 800 - pressure cooker. I have not studied this model thoroughly - it is not interesting to me at all. You can go to the topic with bork 800, to read, to ask the girls.
Rezlina
Manna, yes I already understood, thanks! I don't need a pressure cooker ...
Manna
Then from Borki only U600 or U500 (as I understood there is only M. Video now). I do not recommend the U400.

I ordered STADLER FORM SFC.919 Chef One White this morning from Media Markt.
I have not yet given up the idea with a sous vid, but, in fact, this year I will need as many as 3 new multicooker - home, to the dacha and my son, who will go to study in Moscow in September.
So, if STADLER doesn’t satisfy me 100%, I’ll take him to the dacha.
But I could not pass by such a price (2499 rubles with such obvious advantages).
It costs 7990 on the official website, and 9990 in most online stores.
I hope everything will be fine and I will receive it tomorrow.
Manna
Sailor suit, good luck! I hope the multicooker will only delight.
gala10
Sailor suit, I sous-vid did in Brand 37502, in which the temperature is not regulated at all, on heating (about 70 degrees). I think this can be done in any multicooker. True, in fairness, it should be said that in Shtebe at 63 degrees it turns out much softer.
GL
Hello everybody. I want to say thank you right away for your titanic work! So much to advise and explain - you need to have patience ...
I have been here for a long time, on the site (in fact, thanks to the site, we bought a very successful bread maker)
But only today I registered. I realized that I could not classify all the information, put it together and choose. I would be very grateful if anyone could help.
I didn't have any multicooker. I choose the first one. In the text, I concluded that specific requirements were needed.
First, I need automatic cooking. For example, in the morning I get up (before work) - and breakfast is ready. In the evening I laid it down, she did everything by the time I got up .. Well, the same thing with dinner - we came home - dinner is ready ... (damn, I need a servant, probably ... And not a cartoon ...)
Second - she must make yogurt and it is desirable that there are cups (containers) for him GLASSES NOT REQUIRED
Third, steam cooking.
Fourthly - not very expensive, up to $ 100
Fifthly, I don’t see in our country (Belarus) a lot of what you are talking about here ... More and more Redmonds advertise, buy, offer here ... I am not against this brand either! But I read your texts carefully, I understood about marketing ...
can I see? I read about SCARLETT IS-MC412S01 - they say - it smells like plastic for a long time, the button is unreliable, drips from the lid, porridge "runs away" ... And there are no cans for yogurt, and the programs get confused ... It became a shame (I thought that here it is! )

The sheet has rolled ... Sorry.
Advise me something, huh? ...

1) yogurt,
2) porridge,
3) soup,
4) stew,
5) baking

Miranda
GL,
I don't know what to advise you, I think someone else will write something.
I only wanted to say about the included yogurt jars.

Those multicooker, where the set includes cups / jars, how to say ... In short, they are most often plastic and sooo small. The bottom diameter of the multicooker is smaller than the bottom diameter of the yogurt maker. Yoghurt makers are wider and not tall, multicooker has a bowl twice as high, but the bottom is narrower. And you can't put jars for yogurt in a slow cooker on two floors.

That is, in yogurt makers, cups / jars in 90% of cases are glass, volume 180-200ml, and 5-6 pieces. Multicooker is most often plastic. If there are 5 pieces, then the small ones are about 100 ml, and if there are more, then 3-4 pieces. Otherwise they won't fit. And it's a shame to make 0.5 liters of yogurt in a 4 or 5 liter bowl.

Many people make yogurt in a multicooker in ordinary glass jars, placing them on a towel / silicone and pouring water on the bottom. Or narrow tall glasses. Or buy extra. a bowl especially for milk.

That is, in my opinion, the cups in the kit are marketing. And judging by the reviews, many then still either add. do it more often, or in ordinary jars, forgetting about plastic small cups.

This is a personal opinion, I can be wrong and then someone will correct me.

***
Automatic cooking is a delayed start, available in many models.
Almost all multicooker is able to steam.
GL
Miranda, thank you very much. So I'm taking off the item "glasses for yogurt" ...
Miranda
GL, not at all
This is a personal opinion, if I am mistaken, then I hope they will correct me.
I still have a little culinary zen, so I have the courage to advise others to spend their money on a specific model, so I don't recommend anything specific.

But in my opinion, if you have a large family and need a lot of yogurt, or plan to use it in cooking (sauces, instead of sour cream, etc.), then it is better to focus on extra. bowl.

Good luck with your choice!

PS here is a very good search, type "yogurt in a slow cooker" and a lot of topics about different models will open, see what people use, what they advise.
GL
Miranda, the family is small - there are three of us. We all love yoghurts))) And I also like to take a glass of yoghurt and crackers to work ...
I wrote above - I considered SCARLETT IS-MC412S01, but there is one more problem (besides the ones described above) - I can't find an extra meal. As if in a heap there are too many disadvantages for this model. It's a pity...
I'll go look for more ...
Vasilica
GL, Galyunya, according to your requests, you need either two multicooker, or a multicooker + yogurt maker.
When will the yogurt be prepared, if the cartoon is busy with breakfast at night and dinner in the afternoon?
Almost all multicooker has a "steam" function.

And about the choice of a multicooker in your country, it is probably better to ask your compatriots in a specialized topic. for example Minsk
GL
Vasilica, well, I won't cook yogurt every day ... Well this is a liter of yogurt - where do we three need so much ??
Thanks for the Minsk branch, but I don't live in the capital.

Galyunya, well, you will at least find out what multicooker you generally sell. And online stores are probably sent to different cities.

Porridge, soup, stew, baked goods and inexpensive - this is a Panasonic 18th or 10th (depending on the volume: if the lady is alone, then 10 is enough for her). And the yogurt ... will she really cook it? Yoghurt comes first with you. If this is really so important, maybe then it would be better to give this lady another yogurt maker? If you need everything together in a multicooker, then there is also a redmond 01 (it is 2 liters in volume). For one lady the volume is just right, quiet, nothing runs, bakes and prepares soups carefully.

Virgin, thanks for your help!
Without you, I probably would not have been able to buy a multicooker with an excellent price / quality ratio.
STADLER handled both milk porridge and biscuit. My husband said today "I forgot that charlotte is so delicious!"
Well, yes, we did not immediately realize that Panasonic was failing. The biscuit just got worse and worse.
However, the interface of the new multicooker is not very friendly. Sometimes, even with the help of instructions, this or that action was not successful the first time.
But we will be friends, I know for sure.
Manna

The question is not what is best for meat, pilaf, etc., but what is best for you. Both pressure cookers are working correctly. Only one is a very good simple pressure cooker and costs 6-10 thousand rubles, and the second is a "brainy" pressure cooker with a price of 45 thousand rubles.
