Differences between SD-255 and SD-2501 buckets

Differences between SD-2501 and SD-255 buckets

On the right in the photo is the SD-255 bucket on the left SD 2501.
As you can see, the differences are only in the mixer units. The rest of the buckets are the same. That is, if necessary, you can order a bucket from 2500-2501 without a stirrer unit and use it in SD-255 and vice versa !!!!
The shoulder blades are absolutely identical.
There are differences in the method of making the shaft on which the mixer is mounted in SD-255 it is machined and in SD-2501 it is metal powder casting Good or bad, time will tell

I have SD 2501.
in my opinion the shaft is chiseled, at the outer end there is a radial groove from the cutter

We were told in the store that the buckets in the 2500-2502 models have a very scratch-resistant diamond coating and the bucket will last five years. Whereas ordinary buckets (the seller compared with Mulinex) should be changed after 1.5-2 years.

Well, and of course the price is very different, almost twice, well, 1.8. Is it worth it? Your opinion?

To sell, the store will tell you anything, but the fact that some HP and bread bake and baguettes and pies, just have time to catch .. and the scapula is scanty and programmed and in the evenings sings ditties and runs for beer But seriously, where did they get such statistics only an authorized service knows about it and this information is most likely closed

When I bought my 254 model a year ago, the models 256 and 257 with fluoride diamond coating have just appeared on sale. The difference was not very big in price. The seller advised not to pursue novelty, arguing that the coating is new and not yet tested by time and it is not known how it will behave and that there is no point in overpaying money. We bought a 254 model with a regular Teflon coating - we have been baking for a year now - there are scuffs and micro-scratches, but on baked goods - this does not reflect in any way and nothing burns.

To sell the store will tell you anything

This is just understandable, which is why I am asking here. They are equally likely to speak and flood the truth.

In general, I would like to hear the opinion of those who have buckets with such a coating.

254 model with a regular teflon coating - baked for a year already - there are scuffs and micro-scratches, but on baked goods - this does not reflect in any way and nothing burns.

It is believed that if there are scratches on Teflon, then it begins to emit something harmful into the food that is cooked on it. And then it must be changed. Although it may only count - I don't know.

I have 2501, normal coverage. I didn't check the strength, unlike the shoulder blades ... the wife had already put her hands on, it feels like you need to buy new ones ... At first, after the purchase, I made bread using fast yeast, poured them first, as a result, on the surface, visually , appeared, in the area of \ u200b \ u200bthe kneader, "drawings" ... So I think that if there is a choice between "Teflon" and "diamond fluoride", take the second one and don’t look at the money, after a while you will forget about the money, but use the bucket with a light heart you will ...
OlgaDr
Boriks, what do drawings mean? scratches? or what?
boriks
a scratch suggests a certain depth, but I just have a "drawing" of a scratch, a mark on the surface.

The manufacturer declares:
"New diamond fluoride coating on the bread pan to protect it from damage. 2x stronger than the previous model!"

Boriks, and the vanes in Panasonic also come with a diamond-fluoride coating. So? Then why are they damaged?

And the question is: can you buy the paddles separately? without a bucket?

about the shoulder blades - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...c=911.0
I did not find out what kind of coating there is, but, it seems to me, it's still a simple Teflon ... if it is sensitive enough to damage, and after all, the wear on the mixer is, go, the most serious. And they are not cheap either.
OlgaDr
According to the official information from Panasonic for Britain, the blades also come with a fluoride coating:

Well, maybe we changed the model a little

it means that you don't need to touch them with anything other than your hands ... it's a pity that the kit does not include a hook-puller to remove from the bread ...

This is an overkill, the spatula rarely gets stuck, if this happens, use a stick, for example, to eat sushi
