Lemon sorbet

Ingredients

Water 2 stkn
Granulated sugar 0.5 stcn
lemon (or lime) 2 pcs

Cooking method

  • I share with everyone a very tasty and simple lemon sorbet recipe.
  • I took glass = 200 ml
  • 1. Squeeze the juice out of the lemons, and grate the zest.
  • 2. Bring the sugar and water to a boil and cook the syrup until the sugar is completely dissolved. It literally takes a few seconds.
  • 3. Cool the syrup. Add zest, lemon juice.
  • 4. Freeze in an ice cream maker.

Note

Push:
My ice cream maker tried to freeze this sorbet it seemed forever. Then the blades began to twist the whole mass, and there was liquid below.
Then I added 0% natural yoghurt to the mass and stirred. Things went much better, and the mass froze evenly and more strongly than without yogurt.
In general, the mass was still not very much frozen.
Then I left it in a container and put it in the freezer
A very tasty sorbet turned out.

Indescribable beauty! It's just that the taste is already transferred from the photo!
Do you have an ice cream maker with a compressor?

And for the first time I had liquid at the bottom. And when I added yogurt, everything froze right away.
And most importantly, this sorbet was frozen for at least an hour.
Try adding yogurt right away. It is better to mix the ingredients in a blender.
If this does not work out very well, then you can try to reduce the amount of pure water. Better to take two times less, and more yogurt. Then it will freeze completely.
And then tell me what happened.

I thought for a long time what a sorbet is. Then I looked in a search engine ... it dawned on me - so it looks like fruit and berry ice cream from my childhood !!! I will persuade my husband to have an ice cream maker! I seem to have been convinced!

Yeah, I got this from a selection of berries! The recipe in the topic was previously given. Now I make it constantly-fruity for 7 kopecks, we respect it very much!

And I also have a waffle iron - it would probably be delicious to put such a sorbet on a waffle of my own making.
IMHO, for my taste, it is the sorbet that is not very tasty with waffles, as it seems to me, that's why, in Soviet stores, popsicles were sold in paper cups. But this, I repeat, is just for my taste.
I also gave the recipe for waffles for cones for an old Soviet waffle iron in this thread, I already put ice cream balls in the cones.
