Couscous with vegetables and chicken

Ingredients

Couscous 200 g
chicken broth 400 ml
Mix "Mexican" - ice cream
(sweet pepper, green beans,
black beans, corn, peas, carrots)
1/2 pack
Boiled chicken 1 breast fillet
Ghee (butter) 1-2 tbsp. l.
Fresh greens, green onions 1 tbsp. l.
Salt, spices taste

Cooking method

  • Put the mixture of vegetables (without defrosting) in a hot pan, let it defrost, add oil, salt, spices, chicken pieces, stir and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add the couscous, boiling broth, stir, close the lid, and simmer on the slowest heat until the cereal swells for 5-7 minutes, stir the cereal periodically.
  • Add fresh herbs, salt to taste, mix.
  • If the cereal has not absorbed all of the broth, it is damp, you can turn off the heat and leave it under the lid for a few more minutes.
  • Put the finished couscous on a plate, sprinkle a little green onions on top - serve.

Note

Great breakfast, dinner - quickly, without much hassle, you can use frozen foods, broth and vegetables, cook quickly.

Can be used as a side dish, salad, as an independent dish, you can serve separately a light salad of tomatoes and cucumbers.
