Ice cream "Strawberry with cream"

Ice cream Strawberry with cream

Ingredients

Strawberry 0.5KG
cream 10% 250 ml
condensed milk 0.5 cans or bag
thickener 1 sachet

Cooking method

  • Everything is very simple

  • Ice cream Strawberry with cream

  • We take the ingredients, mix with a blender, add a thickener. Just one serving in an ice cream maker. The thickener need not be added, but then it will freeze longer and melt faster when eaten. And since there is only starch and powdered sugar in it, I consider it a conditionally natural product.

The dish is designed for

4 servings

Time for preparing:

40 minutes

Elenka
Alyona, will you show the finished ice cream?
I've already seen everything. Very appetizing!

How many grams of thickener is in a sachet?

12 grams

Thanks. I'm thinking of replacing the thickener with a dry cream patisier. It's just that I have it in bulk, because I didn't know the quantity.

And if there is no ice cream maker, how to do it?

And if there is no ice cream maker, then how to do it?

Whisk well and place in the freezer. Every 10-15 minutes, depending on the temperature, take out and mix thoroughly to prevent the formation of ice lumps.

Thanks for the current recipe! I just wanted to make strawberry ice cream. Instead of a thickener, I'll make it with gelatin, I hope for a softer taste.
Jefry
lesik_l, "grandfather was ahead of grandmother ..."
I was just going to lay out almost the same recipe.
I confirm, yummy incredible ...
Mine are already looking forward to when more strawberries ripen in the country.
We also tried to add cherries, it turns out in general a real popsicle "like in childhood." By the way, purely cherry ice cream is tasteless, it obviously doesn't go well with cream.

And if there is no ice cream maker, then how to do it?
I once did a double dose as an experiment. And part went through the ice cream maker, the second went straight to the freezer. As a result, it was impossible to distinguish where which was impossible. Therefore, now I don't bother with an ice cream maker at all.
We immediately pour the mixture into small disposable cups, and as soon as it freezes a little, we stick wooden sticks from store ice cream there.
lesik_l
Just freeze, without stirring - we end up with ice, not ice cream. Therefore, I recommend stirring in a large bowl sometimes - the mixture is saturated with air and becomes just ice cream, and not a block of ice.
Faithful
lesik_l take my word for it, there is no ice. Jefry uses the market cream without the thickeners and it turns out to be a real delicious fruit ice cream.

Ice cream made in an ice cream maker is much tastier than without it. I tried to make the taste not the same without it, since the ice cream maker whips and you can't do that with your hands. I tried to beat and put in the refrigerator anyway, it’s not the same as the whipped ice cream starts to sit down, you have to stir all the time to get a good ice cream. If everything were so simple, then they would not release ice cream makers.
Faithful
alex52860 I ask you not to confuse creamy (where you really can't do without an ice cream maker) and popsicles (where fruits predominate that are pre-beaten in a blender), although we are probably talking about different popsicles. That popsicles that Jefry makes is just perfect for my taste.
Jefry
I'll do it soon, I'll take a close-up picture, try to find at least a couple of differences ...

In the meantime, Jeffrey is getting ready, you can compare with my last year's photos:
Ice cream Strawberry with cream
It contains 30% cream, sugar, strawberries. This is my favorite ice cream. All purchased strawberries are ready to spend on it
lesik_l
Girls, what are we arguing about? The ice cream Jefry makes is a completely different recipe. That is, normal heavy cream (I have 10 percent - it's all the same as good homemade milk), sugar (I have ready-made condensed milk, so as not to mess around). Accordingly, the product is different. My version is low-fat and non-whipping, we fill it in the ice cream maker according to the density of actually shop sour cream. If you don't stir it, we get ice, not ice cream. But there are fewer calories. And Jefry has market cream with a crazy fat content, and, as far as I understand, the prepared mixture is well beaten and saturated with air - ice will not work.
I proposed a recipe according to the principle of the least labor costs: chopped the fruit, mixed everything, the ice cream maker will finish the rest. The result is that you will lick your fingers and eat them instantly.

Alena, I want to make an economy version, I need your advice.

instead of cream, can I take goat's milk 5% fat?
you know I always have it,
can you have a banana instead of strawberries?
right now it is a little cheaper
and a thickener with condensed milk, do you think I can do it?
lesik_l
Natasha, you will have a banana as a thickener, I suggest this option: 2 bananas, 1/3 sachets or cans of condensed milk and add milk to the 700 ml mark. It should freeze normally.
Although, just in case, see what kind of mixture will be in the end - if it's like a store sour cream, or a dough for pancakes, it's okay - if not - add a "estimate"
natamylove
Alena, a deep bow for the ice cream and ice cream.

The first time I got what I wanted, super !!!!!!
made of
300 gr of milk
1 orange
2 bananas
0.5 cans of condensed milk
2 sachets of smecta.

That's great!!!!!!
now strawberries are next.
photo really didn't come out

lesik_l
Natasha, judging by the photo you should have frozen the mixture for another 15 minutes. It happens to me that it spins for 40 minutes. I also advise you to lay the ice cream maker on a towel or mitten and wrap it around and on top, leaving only the engine outside, for additional insulation from heat.
natamylove
okay, thanks for the advice, definitely TOMORROW! I will consider, but we were so happy with my husband!
nakapustina
Lesik, made ice cream almost according to your recipe. I took 300 grams of frozen strawberries, banana, orange, spilled a can of condensed milk and almost 0.5 liters of cream
(How did you read the recipe?) I whipped everything in a blender, began to pour it into an ice cream maker, to the eyeballs. Spun for 40 minutes. Still, it turned out soft, well, it's her own fault. But it's delicious! hmmm The photo is certainly not very presentable. Next time I will do everything strictly according to the recipe. Thank you!

I am very glad that I liked the recipe. As long as there is fresh strawberries, we make every day - taste-u-u-u-sleep
Olka44
girls, and if there is no ice cream maker .... is it better not to bother?
Has Natasha decided to buy molds for ice cream-cute animals, but it turns out that it will not work out at all if you just put it in the freezer right away?
to get stir several times reluctance
lesik_l
Better to just make strawberry ice. That is, stir the juice with sugar and pour into molds.

Thank you!!! and maybe somehow or something to mix?

Non-whipped, non-aerated cream will taste 🔗

So it's better not to add cream. But it will be interesting to mix various juices, add finely chopped fruits. For better stabilization of the product and so that it does not melt very quickly - add jelly (i.e., brew starch)
Taia
Today I made ice cream according to this recipe. Very tasty and the recipe is not confusing. While it's strawberry season, I'll have a full blast.
Made strictly according to the recipe, the cream was 20%. My husband said that it’s not sweet, but everything is just right for me.
lesik_l
At the expense of sweet, not sweet, I have already taught my husband, although he is a terrible sweet tooth. First, I watered it with additional condensed milk or jam, and then tasted it and began to eat without additional sweeteners.
fronya40
This has become my favorite ice cream.I take a bag of frozen strawberries from the supermarket, half a liter of cream (I collect cream from homemade milk myself). 4 tbsp. l. Sahara. Beat frozen strawberries with a blender and in an ice cream maker for 30 minutes. The taste is amazing !!!!
Creamy
Fronechka, smart girl, one hundred thousand pluses! I myself always keep frozen strawberries in the freezer. I like to cook strawberry five-minute jam for pancakes or baked goods.
fronya40
girls, today I wanted it so much, and I try to sit on a low-calorie diet ... I took half a kg of fresh strawberries, 200 ml of 10% cream (pack), sugar three tbsp. l, chilled a little in the freezer for 15 minutes, or with a blender for 30 minutes, such a delicate fresh ice cream puree.
lesik_l
Low calorie diet, you say, and three tablespoons of sugar - well, well.

Well, for 700 g of ice cream, that's not much. It depends on how much to eat, if 100-150 g but nothing.
And it is not harmful at all!
Tanya, well, you are my "sister" right now!

well, well, no ice cream at all ???? I can't do that. I just try and that's it

thank you, dear, for supporting))))
AILIN
lesik_l Thanks for the recipe! This was my first ice cream. I just took chilled cream 15%, frozen strawberries, and added half a banana, and instead of a thickener - 1 hour. l. pre-dissolving gelatin in 50 ml of hot cream, and condensed milk. I whipped everything with a stationary blender and into an ice cream maker. Thickened in 15 minutes. It turned out gently strawberry-creamy, without any ice crystals! Delicious
lesik_l
I'm glad I liked the idea. Fast and easy
toffee
And what kind of thickener is this? Is it gelatin, starch, banana?
nut
Irina, namesake There is a thickener for cream, Dr. Otter - we have it in Russia, and in Ukraine, the thickener Smeta. For example, I like the Estimate more than the Otter, but the Estimate has long run out for me - it's just so sorry, now I use the Overt
Ukka
We have both Otter and Estimate - and I like Otter better ... The taste and color ...
And strawberry ice cream is delicious !!!

I am reporting. I made this ice cream without a thickener because there is no such beast in our village. I can't say about the consistency after the ice cream maker, I left home. My daughter poured it into containers and froze it. I came in the evening, took it out of the refrigerator - ice cream "in a stone", but I love that. Delicious. Thank you.
lesik_l
Well, great, I sometimes used banana instead of a thickener. Also delicious, but this is a different ice cream

Here, a thickener is needed only because we use non-heavy cream and fruit puree. That is, there is absolutely nothing to keep the volume there. The thickener, which is an instant starch, gives us long chains of molecules that bind it all together. You can try to brew starch in a certain amount of cream, cool and add to the mixture. Will have the same effect as adding "such a beast"
toffee
There was a thought about starch, but I thought about brewing in a berry. She rushed - he was not at home, well, okay, and so they ate. Today the daughter is alone at home, a friend came to her, ate everything that was left. The girlfriend praised.
Diana
Alena, thanks for the delicious ice cream. I do it often, I specially froze strawberries. But I do it without a thickener and everything works out great.
lesik_l
When I use frozen strawberries, I do the same without a thickener, but when all the fresh mixture is very liquid and freezes for a very long time, a little starch will not hurt

I love this ice cream, do I? Went to the kitchen
Diana
It's good for you, but I'm on a diet, so I'll just look at the picture and lick my lips.
lesik_l
At the beginning of the topic, we discussed with the girls the use of bananas in the recipe instead of starch and the replacement of cream with milk - everything worked out, so not a large amount of ice cream is not a hindrance to any diet.If we take a mixture of milk with bananas as a basis, add a little sugar (bananas will already give sweetness) and some flavoring accent, such as strawberries-raspberries-oranges - will not be high in calories and very tasty.
Diana
Thank you very much, I'll endure it somehow until summer, ice cream is more needed in summer, but now everything is the same, but with a seagull
