Girls, I recently took a multicolored Rio bowl on legs here at a good price. And now black pandora will also be at a delicious price. Am I thinking of taking it or not? There is a bowl with a slope - it should be comfortable, the black color is gloomy, of course, but ... So I think - do I need two bowls that are identical in their properties? Rio was originally bought for salt. True, I have not yet used it actively for its intended purpose (for now, I am just collecting dishes for a new kitchen), but here's what I noticed - the bowl does not open very easily (it does not work with one hand, the lid goes tight). Maybe it will develop over time? And on the fold, the plastic will not crack over time?

And on the friendly forum in the "Tupperware News" section, special offers have already been made. I don’t know if I can throw a link here?

I very actively used this bowl for salt and one "fine day" it stopped closing tightly. I thought that I was clogged and washed thoroughly, but it did not help. I found a suitable cover, also lilac, and thus got out of the situation.

I have a pandora. About gloomy - I disagree. Looks pretty good. I use the truth not for salt, but for jam, jam, grated berries. Stands normally in the refrigerator (though not for long - it is eaten quickly ...)

I also bought black chopping boards - I use them as serving napkins on the table - they look stylish, and how convenient - nothing frizzes, no need to wash ... Wipe it and voila - everything is clean!

Girls, owners of the Chief Press of the Fusion series, tell me who has both nozzles, which one is more often used? And then I can’t decide on the size.
kavmins
girls, and how much does storage increase in ukhs for meat and fish? are they needed or not?
Zamorochka
bukabuza, Elena, I bought a Chef press with a 10 mm nozzle, then another 15 mm was not released. Good size for French fries, for dicing vegetables into vinaigrette or salad.
But then a 15mm nozzle came out and I ordered it)) too. I decided that I needed it for a larger cut of vegetables in a stew.
In general, depending on what you intend to use, if for cutting into salads, vinaigrette, French fries, then 10mm
bukabuza
Zamorochka, Galina, thanks, I’m just for fries and I want to expand my Fusion series.
SaraZ
Girls, and I am to you again with a question: what volumes of compacts Novelty are the most popular with you? I don’t bake, so with flour it’s enough for me to fit a 1 or 2 kg pack. For 3.4 liters of sugar - it is possible in principle, but a large consumption of sugar is only in summer, because I cook compotes. I will be grateful to everyone for the advice.
bukabuza
I use 3.4 for pasta, 2 for buckwheat and rice, 1.6 for the rest of the groats, and 1 for millet, peas, milk powder (what is consumed a little), the smallest are used for malt, starch and soda.
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
The new 3.4 liters of sugar includes 3 kg, 3.5 to the eyeballs if.
Flour 2 kg is also 3.4 liters. If for 1 kg of flour, then 2.2 liters with some margin. But in 1.6 liters, 1 kg of rye flour could not fit, I had to buy more for 2.2. In a liter I have a standard pack of salt. In a small 350 ml which, two packets of bay leaves. The rest of the cereals and pasta 🍝 did not check how they enter. Maybe one of the girls will write more.

Elena, that's right. A good thing is this press in a couple of minutes, you can cut a bowl of vinaigrette, and even fries in a moment.
The citrus press is also great in this series.
bukabuza
Galina, I have a press, I took it for a long time, when it first appeared and I am very pleased with it.

And in general, lately in the tapper I love all sorts of devices for the kitchen, not containers. I take containers as needed or to replace old ones. But all sorts of things that they produce, but they are not cataloged, are very deserving of attention.
Want to know everything
Girls! And what are the containers "Eleganta" for what is more correct to adapt? How tight is their lid and how easy it is to open? How are they practical in everyday use? Or just beautiful? Kitchen space is limited, I want it to be beautiful, but the main thing is to be comfortable! For the husband and children quickly violate all the laws of beauty! And if you store flour-cereals in them, how tight the lid is, so as not to let the beetles-insects-moisture. In a word, I want elegans (they attract outwardly), but are they needed? Help me figure it out, please!
Aunt Besya
The elegants are beautiful and the lid is tight (there is an O-ring), but it is not very convenient to open it - you need to pick it up with your nails, you can't open it with one hand! I store tea, nitrite salt, crackers for soups / salads and a couple of spices in large ones, which for some reason turned out to be in large quantities (for example, Zaatar from Israel), and in small Elegants, which fit very conveniently into a small drawer of the kitchen table , powdered sugar, baking powder, cream fixer are stored, which I buy by weight, and not in bags, as well as various dried fruits, candied fruits
Want to know everything
Helen! Thanks for the info! To pick up with a fingernail is definitely not for me! For I am always in a hurry, and if it doesn’t work with one hand, then it’s a disaster! For some reason, hands are always very busy! Yes, and for small children, it means that it will not cope with such covers ... so while I stop wanting Elegance ... temporarily ...
I'll wait ... until the children grow up ...
anavi
Aunt Besya, Helen, for a long time I want to thank you for the advice to open the container with one touch with your elbow - well, I’m just doing it right now! Thanks a lot!!!

Good evening girls!
Having joined the ranks of Taper's fans in July, I began to read the topic from the very beginning, but I have not mastered everything yet.
This week I bought a microwave, but today I bought Pasta Bravo from the joint venture.
Even in the bins, they found a Thermik for me, too, at the price of the joint venture (as soon as the joint venture for the thermal ended, I immediately began to want it thanks to this topic
and in general, gradually there is less space in the kitchen, Taper takes up space
I tried to put Pasta-Bravo in the microwave (micra 23 liters) - the distance to the top of a centimeter is about 2-2.5 cm, and the guide says that the distance should be at least 5 cm. It turns out that you can't use it, you need to change it to a rectangular one?
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
yana1703, I do not have 5 cm with round pasta-bravo either. But everything is preparing normally. But the rectangular in my micra will not go in length, that's for sure.
SaraZ
And I boast - I read the whole topic in just a couple of months, read it at night when the children were asleep. I am slowly buying up a server, although many do not understand my "addiction". But I try to approach everything wisely.

I also try to buy only what I need and what will definitely be in demand, of all purchases, only ice cream molds are not unpacked, and I did not immediately legalize them (I hid them), but according to the law of meanness, the child found them in a week and I have no rest for the second month already, when are we going to make ice cream.
Elena17
yana1703, please your child - make ice cream. you can mix cream, grated berries. Or fruity.
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
yana1703, just beat the yogurt with your favorite berries and freeze. I still freeze the surplus smoothies. It melts quickly, which is important for children.
SaraZ
My friends don't understand some of my purchases. For example, a turbo grinder or a shaker was rejected - like money thrown to the wind. But in a rented apartment, they helped me out. For minced meat, I chopped potatoes, onions, bread, etc. only with them, because there was no electric meat grinder. And in the shaker cocktails, pancakes and olets - it is the most. I'm generally a lazy housewife - I can cook, but I don't really like it. And with such games it's nice to be in the kitchen. But the husband still resists. he doesn't understand how plastic can be worth so much money. In general, some of you are familiar with this forum in absentia. A very useful topic.

And they themselves tried to work with it? On the contrary, I stopped using the electric chopper when I got the turbo. None of the most sophisticated electric shredders could grind me to the size I needed, either very finely, or mashed potatoes, or uneven pieces. With the advent of baby turbo, this task in the kitchen is solved at once!
With a shaker (mixer), it is great to beat the mass into an omelet, pancakes, sauce, wash less than in electric ones))
Maybe the girls were not satisfied with the volume of the product?

SaraZ, well, let them not understand ... I generally forgot the last time I cut an onion or garlic with a knife. The turbo grinder (300 ml) is the favorite for this purpose. Easy, fast, no tears. Omelettes without a shaker - I can’t imagine either ... Conveniently - there is a measuring scale, no more measurements are needed.
My husband was impressed when he saw that his boiled pork had been lying fresh for more than a week in a composite tray and the cottage cheese in the super hit parade on the 7th day was as if it had just been brought from the market. And even when I bought him a 750 ml water bottle and an organizer with dividers (creative), I adapted it for fishing accessories. Jug compote Charm is also very respected ....

how plastic can cost so much money
Well, more than once they have spoken about this in the topic, compared to other brand firms that produce plastic, its price is not so high, and sometimes even lower, I do not compare Bytplast and similar companies, but there is also quality, sorry , for a couple of months and the view becomes obscene.
yana1703
I am very happy with the shaker, the omelet is just super! the pancakes are excellent, but the truth is, I often fried them for the first time after the purchase, then came to naught, but now it's winter-cold on the nose and there will be pancakes again on the weekend :)
SaraZ
And I also dearly love the thermo-preserver, which also very few people appreciated: I steamed compotes every day in the summer, cottage cheese is small. Yogurt (though not always successful). Keep the cutlets hot. It paid for itself completely.

They just think that the pianoforte is containers, earwigs and "soups" (in the old fashioned way). And all such devices are considered a whim more, they even pin up. But I'm not offended. The main thing is that I like it. I'd rather not buy a new bag, but get something that will make my life in the kitchen easier.

They should also show a can opener and a corkscrew (open a can of canned food and a bottle of wine ...)

Or cook macaroons in bravo pasta, in microcuke - a vegetable stew in a micra quickly and without hassle or a dessert for tea in 5 minutes ...
I wish I could look at their faces later ...

Compotes, as in a jug Charm. I cut the fruit (or washed it with dried fruit), poured it with boiling water. I added sugar at night.
Cottage cheese (it turns out, like a curd mass) from frozen kefir. I freeze kefir in a cooling tray of 800 ml, and then also in a thermal overnight - then I just collected the mass with a spoon and into the hit parade. No gauze or unnecessary gestures are needed.
Yogurt - I heat milk up to 40C, add a pack of classic Danone, sugar, pour it into jars (Charm mugs and special cups have not yet bought) - close the jars, put them in a sieve (I have baby puree jars), pour boiling water to the sieve covering the thermal. In the morning, the yogurt is ready. True, until it is mixed, it seems to be thick - it does not flow from the jar. But after mixing it turns out thin. I want to try it with milk powder, but somehow my hands did not reach. Maybe someone will share their secrets of making yogurt (thick) in a thermic.
Well, just defrost the meat or keep fried foods longer.
And - I also cook sausages in a thermic (if you can call it that)

And I want to persuade my husband to the side of the taper with a corkscrew - otherwise they always break with us or normally do not open anything

And as for the price of good plastic, I agree, it is not cheap, but with my first purchase of a taper we didn’t work out, so my husband didn’t accept my enthusiasm.
The first thing I did was buy the Charm pitcher. She described to her husband the advantages of this plastic and the device, told her head about the 30-year warranty. And then, on the third day of using the jug, a piece of plastic breaks off at the lid (where we press to open the paint). The husband looked and said: well, well, but you said that he didn’t fight either. Let's see how your 30 year warranty works. For the sake of fairness, I note that the consultant girl, without further ado, replaced the cover with a new one - her husband was surprised. But it still teases.

Yogurt (though not always successful).

And I’m not going to cook yogurt in a thermoserver ...

Girls, and how much yoghurt is fermented on average in a thermoserver?

Go look for an algorithm of actions), I forgot already ...
Irinabr
In any warm place, not only in a thermoserver, yogurt needs 4 hours or more. The time depends on the temperature. The main thing is that it is not lower than 25 (although it will still ferment a day and at a lower temperature) and not more than 39 degrees.
Milk is also important. In order not to "grow" other bacteria, it is better to take sterilized milk and pour it into sterilized jars. Then the real yoghurt flavor is assured. I prefer the Country House. It always ferments on it, which means that no antibiotics are added to milk for storage.
I sometimes leave it overnight, then it will ferment at room temperature, but the milk needs to be heated until warm and the jars should be wrapped in something.
Experiment with time. The longer the t and the time, the more acidic the yogurt. My favorite is 4 hours at t = 39 degrees. Daughter loves 6 hours at the same temperature.
In the thermoservice, when boiling water is poured up to the sieve, the temperature will not exceed the required level. Yogurt will be cooked for 4 hours or more.

Good morning girls!
Tell me, please, how long does it take to cook dumplings in Pasta-bravo at a power of 800?
and how to cook calamari in the thermal - fill the squid completely with water for about 20 minutes?
LanaG
yana1703, fill the squid with boiling water for 20-25 minutes, do not be afraid to overexpose, they do not grow dubious
Pour the dumplings with water to make the cover, then it depends on the dumplings themselves (size, thickness of the dough), but not less than 4-5 minutes exactly
yana1703
Svetlana, thank you for your help!
I cooked pasta yesterday, it says 9 minutes on the pack, but 9 was not enough, for a total of 15 minutes until cooked at 800.
I will now experiment with dumplings :)

Girls, why doesn't anyone answer me? Nobody cooked, or what? What then is the portioned rice cooker for?

anavi, For example, I don't have such a small rice cooker, but I had to give a little book, there is something about porridge. I boiled millet like this, first in water, and then I added milk, all by eye. Maybe someone else will answer

JiriUnfortunately, the book has neither proportions nor time. And the one who cooked will tell better and more accurately, right? Here it is written - you cannot butter, milk, - but we still cook milk porridge there!
