Girls, and maybe boys. And who can tell you some delicious recipe for a rice cooker. Sushi is certainly good, but I would like something original.
P.S. Friends bought the same rice cooker as ours. We are waiting for them to get tired of sushi
Rina
just treat the rice cooker like electric pan... You can cook EVERYTHING in it as in ordinary pots.
If you need automatic triggering of "cook => varm", then the recipe should be such that the water is completely absorbed into the product (that is, the temperature at the bottom of the saucepan rises above the boiling point). The same pilaf, crumbly porridge is very good in a rice cooker. You are in the right section. Here's your choice https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=289.0

And someone used the NS-ZAQ18 Japanese rice cooker company ZOJIRUSHI, you can read a link where you can read reviews about it.
Gypsy
Read reviews on Amazon. In my opinion, good rice cookers, only thin pots and mostly a lot of rice programs (there may not be a stewing program).
Nikolaevna
Yes, there are only different rice programs, but the seller assured that their workers were in such different ways.

In a simple rice cooker with one button, you can also use different jew's harp if you have no choice. And the choice, as I understand it, is huge in Russia now.

Nikolaevna, I have a model "Zojirushi", model NS-ZAQ 10 WZ, her native instructions were in English. lang., and the translation of the instruction into Russian was given to your model.

Has anyone used the Kuku 0331 Rice Cooker?
Nikolaevna
The problem is over, I found instructions for the rice cooker, the store provided. I am not overjoyed with my saucepan, I never thought that the product cooked on the stove and in the rice cooker is so radically different.
Lud-Mil @
Good evening!
Advice is required - I got such a simple rice cooker for 750 rubles, it seems to me it's not expensive. What will be the opinions, is it worth buying such a device or not?
🔗
The indicated volume is 1.5 liters (4-6 persons). The saucepan seems to be not bad, I do not know how the coating will show itself, but the metal is not flimsy, you feel stiffness, I recently looked at a rice cooker with a buttoned lid, it was thinner there. Power 550 W.
🔗
The lid is glass, but rather heavy, the weight of the empty saucepan presses down. Will it really jump while cooking?
P.S. I checked - exactly 3 liters of water entered the side.
libushe
Ludmila, I have a very similar Tristar, only mine is unheated, but this one has it. The power is the same. Cooking rice and risoto very well. I put onions, carrots, zucchini and rice on top - everything works out great. The whole process is visible through the glass cover. Can be opened and stirred if desired. I bought it for my work, and then moved home. When cooking, nothing bounces, and the bowl itself is exactly the same. The bowl is pressed against the heating element by the weight of the contents (rice, water, and vegetables), nothing bounces
Lud-Mil @
libushe, thank you very much for your reply! So it will be a good addition to the multicooker, I will unload it a little. Now I am just reading Temka "How to cook in a rice cooker", they even manage to make baked goods in similar ones, that would be great.
It's very good that it doesn't jump, otherwise I came across a couple of reviews that the lid jumps when cooking, there was even a video, so I was puzzled.
libushe
Ludmila, my lid does not bounce, I did not try to make baked goods in it, but it will definitely unload the multicooker. While something is stewing in the cartoon, you can make a side dish in the rice cooker. She cooks rice wonderfully and a manufacturer like Swedish (and mine, too, by the way), inspires confidence.
Lud-Mil @
Oh, that's just the manufacturer at first did not inspire confidence in me - I got used to the fact that everything is now being done in China. I examined the packaging very carefully from all sides and the rice cooker itself, I did not find PRC abbreviations anywhere in small or large print, perhaps they are not lying, because today no one is ashamed to admit that the assembly is Chinese.
Rina
My lid on a small rice cooker bounces when I load it close to maximum. Rice sometimes gives a thick foam when boiling, so she tries to lift the lid. So what? The lid will definitely not throw off, well, it rattles sometimes ... This does not affect the performance of the rice cooker.

The declared volume is 1.5 liters - this should be the maximum amount of rice that can be cooked in it. 1.8 liters of rice is a saucepan of 4.5-5 liters (standard capacity of the same Panasonic, clathronic, etc.) So, there must have been some mistake from the seller.

Here, I looked ... on the off-site of the Alpina, the rice cooker is shown for 1.0 liters of rice.

If I had not been equipped with a baby (she is generally 4 cups, it seems), I would have taken one for myself. The baby helped me a lot when I was alone with two small children - it was inconvenient to cook porridge from 1 measuring cup in Panasonic, and 2 cups was a lot. And this summer at the dacha she also worked very successfully in tandem with a pressure cooker.
Lud-Mil @
Yes, I also came to the conclusion that a small saucepan must be in the household. I now have this problem - the main eater (son) in the army, and I will never get used to the fact that now I need to cook quite a bit. And although I don’t fill the risks up to the top in the cartoon (if only the first courses, and then I pour less), all the same, even half the volume I have a lot, I have to eat it for two or three days, I can't cook for one portion, I always cook on the eye, and the eye automatically tries to adjust to the size of the pan. And here, after all, almost half the saucepan is smaller than in the cartoon.
Yes, they have some kind of confusion with the volumes - they may have been translated incorrectly, but this is not uncommon, in any instruction there are always jambs.
I looked at the office. site model 1901, mine is 1910, although visually just twins.
Lud-Mil @
Maybe on the site just the last two digits are mixed up in places?
Completed: Girls, I came back to say a huge thank you for the advice, they helped me make a choice in favor of this rice cooker. Just tasted it - baked it A very simple honey cake ... I do not know what it should be, the first time I baked it according to this recipe, I have it not high, but the main thing is that the honey cake turned out! In just an hour, it was superbly baked and even turned brown on the reverse side (turned it over), the bottom really came out a little dark, but it's my own fault, I switched the cook four or five times, probably two times would be quite enough. I just don’t believe myself that something is baked in such a primitive saucepan, I don’t bake in my cartoon, the bottom burns out, the top is raw. In general, I'm happy! And I even like the glass lid, it's very convenient for those curious like me, you can watch the whole process without opening it.

Usually they bake in the RIS mode, or SOOK, as they call it. The saucepan turns itself off from time to time, you turn it back on from time to time, well, and at readiness. In general, flip through the topic of snchal, there you can find everything in detail
Lud-Mil @
Eva123, in my rice cooker, biscuits and honey cake are the best. I bake them according to the following scheme: I turn on the SOOK, the rice cooker works until it turns off automatically (usually 5 minutes or a little more), then switches to heating. I leave it in this mode for 20 - 25 minutes, then turn it on again on SOOK. After turning off another 20 -25 minutes of heating, depending on the bakedness of the dough, as I see that the baked goods are already baked enough - I shake the cake out of the saucepan, put it on the back side to brown the top and turn it on again on the SOOK. In my rice cooker, this is enough for the dough to bake and brown, if you make more inclusions, it may burn, but in others you need to try the same, adapt depending on their character. The pizza turned out quite well, oddly enough, I did not even think that you could bake pizza in such a saucepan.

Hello, I have a rice cooker OTTO RC-110T with a volume of 1 liter, power 400W.
Maybe someone has the same to share recipes. I have instructions in Thai, so I use the poke method
So far I've steamed manti and I'm very happy. Cooked Kuban rice according to the recipe "Japanese rice GOHAN" - excellent,
Although the rice cooker was purchased as an addition to the ice cooker, the lean soup is excellent today. While I was cutting onions, carrots, celery and tomatoes for frying, cabbage and potatoes were steamed in a hinged tray. She took off the tray, poured out the rest of the water, fried the frying a little in butter, connected everything, poured it with water, brought it to a boil, seasoned it and simmered it for 1.5 hours on heating. Oddly enough, very tasty.

My saucepan has arrived. I took it in China. The Chinese do things very well for themselves!
Plastic only on the arms and legs, no rubber bands. Two heating elements for 700 and 41 W. Mechanical control is as simple and reliable as an AK. Thermostat for 150g, Thermal fuse for 185. Stainless steel bowl with a thick bottom. The bowl has a large side, it is impossible to pour the ten. The pot itself is made of metal, plastic only on the legs, the workmanship is very good. I was not too lazy to get into the inside of the device. Stainless steel steamer (compatible with conventional gas pots), stainless steel lid with side holes for steam outlet. (The lid is also standard, you can put a glass from an ordinary saucepan). The power input is the same as on Panasonic (like a computer).
Cooks rice well. Compared to 18 Panasonic cooks rice faster, the result is more similar to the pilaf program in Panasonic.
The saucepan cost ~ $ 30

The saucepan also has a younger series with an aluminum bowl and steamer and a painted body, which costs around $ 20.

The saucepan is good as a base ... If my hands itch, I'll buy an Arduino for $ 15, a thermal sensor, a relyushka and bluetooth or wifi ... A few days and there will be a dream cooker, which you can't buy for 20000r.
But these are plans, but for now I will use it like this.

I like to cook buckwheat, rice and pasta in them. But, of course, under your control, because you need to enable and disable manually
