I look after myself a rice cooker mainly for cooking rice. I read a lot on your forum about a variety of rice cookers. They don't sell anything from the presence in my wilderness. Therefore, I tune in to E-bay. I looked after such a cutie there
Risovarka: models, reviews, discussion
The indicated volume is 3 cups, the pot, according to my suggestions, is 1 liter.

I would be glad if the advice is worth taking or not, isn't it cheap? Have you come across such a manufacturer?
Thanks in advance

(we cannot scold direct links to other resources. change the link to a regular, non-clickable one) and the rice cooker is good, we have an analogue on sale - Klatronic (the principle is similar). Take it, be sure, you will cook successfully not only rice and cereals, we have a topic for the simplest rice cookers. Now I will find, insert the link.

drimsam knockout Rice cooker and multicooker are one device In every fancy multicooker there is a rice program, it may be called differently, but rice programs will be sure

Natasha, so that it becomes clear in one sentence, there are more progs in multicooker with different modes (programs). But even in a simple rice cooker, you can cook soup and bake charlotte (in addition to rice).

Natasha, the rice cooker is very comfortable. She cooks rice perfectly and you can do everything in it that is in a slow cooker on pilaf mode. In addition, many rice cookers have a steaming basket, so you can use pilaf as a program in duet dishes. You probably don't need baked goods, because you have Panasonic. You have there (we) a kingdom of rice cookers, there is plenty to choose from. And the multicooker is a relief.
Yeah, read it, you don't want it anymore. And I still put jars of yogurt in it, and I put the dough so that it will come up in the warmth. Before that, I will turn it on so that it is heated, turn it off, and it keeps warm for a long time, the dough fits perfectly. For me it is not superfluous, my rice cooker is universal.

I have a cartoon for a year now, my friends brought it from Russia, it never stands idle with me,
there is a Mulinex bread maker, we bought it here, but it is not very good. good: bakes bread with a white crust - does not fry,
but I knead the dough in it. I'm very good. Like.
And I also bake bread in the oven: I kneaded the bread maker, distance it, I put it in the oven once, the bread is brown.

Can I put in my bit too ?! I didn't think that a rice cooker in the house is a useful thing. And she was very wrong. Our family is madly in love with sushi, and cooked rice in a pan is not at all suitable for our favorite dish. We bought it. The only thing is that I do not trust ordinary household appliances stores - many times I ran into low-quality goods. I buy all utensils and household appliances through the startmart online store. And the prices are very affordable, and the quality is more than good. The rice cooker, by the way, was also taken there.
I am very pleased. Works like a clock.

Panasonic has announced a rice cooker with a smartphone docking station.

Risovarka: models, reviews, discussion

... Panasonic engineers have managed to combine two traditional devices - a smartphone and a rice cooker, calling the resulting hybrid the world's first rice cooker with a smartphone docking station. The Panasonic SR-SX2 Jar Rice Cooker IH Series has the standard functionality found in all advanced rice cookers, including 200 пар Steam, Great Thermal Dancing Boil and Diamond Furnace.Don't ask how the last two functions stand out - we don't know. All we know is that they will give you incredibly delicious cooked rice.

In addition, the SR-SX2 rice cooker serves as a docking station for FeliCa-compatible Android smartphones (FeliCa is a contactless payment system). It goes without saying that to get started, you need to download a special application, and then, by simply pressing your fingers on the touch screen of your smartphone, make the necessary settings for the device. If you wish, you can connect to the Panasonic cloud server and download recipes from there with recommendations for cooking.

Thanks for the compliments! While getting used to it. And mine seems to have a non-removable lid, but nothing, but it has a removable inner lid, and in the valve - it's so interesting: some kind of ball rolls around. I tried baking on the first program, rice cake - toy cake - it turned out to be a casserole and a program "yogurt" - also in the top five. Great saucepan, heavy. I bought it in a Japanese store via the Internet. I saw it and could not resist.

inherited a rice cooker ... everything is in Hieroglyphs, nowhere is there a Russian description. I do not know what to do.

IRR
liniolla, - a very good company with you, with me at the same plant (specializing in the production of air conditioners).

Usually the first 2-3 programs are rice (and there are all). This means it works until the liquid is completely boiled away. As soon as it has boiled away, it turns off, goes into heating. Possibility of extinguishing (i.e. shallow boiling). There is a TURBO program - fast cooking, when the temperature is high and everything boils, boils and splashes out. There may even be frying or baking. In any case, it is necessary to use the method of a scientific poke until I see another way. Well, at the bottom, everything is clear - a timer, minutes-hours, a button to cook (juice).

On my YUMMI, the buttons are located in the next sequence - rice, soup, stewing, baking, potatoes, steamed. But this is all conditional, you understand. And it only means temperature and intensity. Cook if it suits you only for cereals - this will already take a lot of trouble off your shoulders (somehow interfere, make sure that it does not run away and does not burn)

And I ordered such a baby, I have been admiring her for a long time, but when I saw it for 560 rubles, I did not even think about it. They'll bring it tomorrow. Girls, what's the truth, and you can make baked goods in this? For my small family, tiny pies and cakes would be just that! Well, I often cook rice and buckwheat a little bit.
Gypsy
can. You still have a steamer attached there.
vernisag
Well, in general, I got this little rice cooker, it turned out that it is not at all small .... The saucepan is slightly smaller than in Panasonic 10, ordinary Teflon (Teflon is clear what the whole unit is 560 rubles). White on top, this is an ordinary plastic double boiler only with handles. I test it in the evening, and then give it to a friend. Here.

vernisag, and you dreamed about what volume? I wrote there that 2 liters.

but about the price ... well, this is how you look at it - for such a baby 560 grams is a lot of money. You can buy a full-scale one. My 4 liter is so 199. And the Teflon in it is really flimsy. And with one button inconvenience, you have to stand over it. (unless you just need a side dish, no liquid)
vernisag
Well, probably not deceived, but just very little information and one picture, according to which it is not entirely clear what it is. But when I came to the point of issue, I did not recognize her, for a long time I thought that the white one from the top was a double boiler inserted into ordinary tefl. saucepan. And the size was very surprised, 1 liter is the working volume, and I will measure it to the brim in the evening at home.

I don’t know. A casserole like a Panas. 10, we can a little less, written 1 liter.
vernisag, what volume have you dreamed about? I wrote there that 2 liters.
Well, yes, 2 liters is probably there.
vernisag
I measured the volume with a measuring cup, to the last mark of more than 1.5 liters, to the edge of 2.5 liters. I cooked pilaf, just cooked rice, now I put the simplest pie, it sticks, it burns and the automation, if it is there at all, does NOT work. The temperature is very high, the boiling is very violent, the glass lid jumps and rattles, a lot of foam forms, which pushes the lid out. In general, kick-ass ...
vernisag
I went to see, it was already on the heating (does not want to bake the pie), switched to rice. But this suggests that there is still automation! Can you just be naughty temporarily?

everything is correct. In such simple rice cookers, baking a pie is to constantly switch the button from heating to cook.

Did she turn off the rice herself?

Did she turn off the rice herself?
No, when I felt that it was already on fire, I could not stand it and turned it off. But now I understand that it was possible to wait, although I barely washed the saucepan ... IRR, does the pie mean that it is baked like that in all rice cookers? Enough for 1-2 minutes and is cut down, and does not turn on for a while, maybe it will come on heating. Interestingly though, the whole baking process can be seen through the glass lid.

No, baking will not work on heating. there is only 80 gr. so you have to click

3 years ago multicooker was a big deficit (and only Panasonic). Therefore, simple rice cookers and Gypsy created a wonderful topic, how she helped then rice cookers are simple. There is a lot of information and useful links.

About fig. Do not immediately try to get it out and scrub it out of the pan. Turn it off, stir and forget about it for 15 minutes - it will steam out and it will be easier to lag behind.

shl. on heating you can cook soups, borscht, meat, etc.so it will come to Simmer milk and porridge.
