Rice with carrots and raisins

Ingredients

1st = 300 ml
1 cup rice
1.5 - 2.5 tbsp of water (depending on the cooking method and type of rice)
2-3 medium carrots
2 tbsp with a slide of raisins
1-3 heads of garlic.

Cooking method

  • Such rice is perfect as a side dish for pork or lamb, and as an independent dish.
  • Fry grated or finely chopped mock in a thick-walled saucepan or cauldron. Put well washed rice on top, add water, add raisins. Stick the heads of garlic, peeled from the top husk, but not disassembled into cloves, into the rice. Cook until the water has evaporated and the rice is soft, top up if necessary.
  • Season the rice with salt, add oil (optional) and mix.
