A friend from Chernivtsi treated me to these dumplings. Delicious!

Chernivtsi potato dumplings (lazy dumplings)

500 gr potatoes
1 egg
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 tablespoon dry parsley
salt, pepper to taste
3-4 tablespoons of flour with a large slide, as it gets

for refueling
1 large onion, vegetable oil

Boil the potatoes in their skins and cool completely. Peel, grate or mince. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly (I mixed in the food processor with a hook).
Cut the onion into large cubes and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Boil water and salt in a saucepan. Dip a teaspoon in water, separate the dumplings with a teaspoon and dip in boiling salted water. They cook very quickly. Don't overcook! As soon as the dumplings float, remove them with a slotted spoon, immediately put them in a pan with onions and gently stir with a spatula.
This portion makes a full large skillet.
Of course, such dumplings are perfect for soup, only to separate them with a tiny coffee spoon for soup.
