I bought a Severin 3983 yesterday and baked white bread according to the usual standard recipe. We all really liked it.

Before that, I had a Moulinex OW 5002 bread maker, bought in a used condition and apparently out of order. There the stirrers were switched on every other time. Here in it the bread turned out two times very dense, airless. We returned it to the store under warranty and bought this Severin.

I tried to bake white bread with my daughter on Severin 3986. according to the recipe from the instructions, for a small dose (480 g. flour, 140 ml. milk, 150 ml. water, 2 tablespoons. l. olive oil) put an additional 1 tsp. of dry mustard, yeast - 2 h / l, flour had to be added to bring to the desired density (3-5 tbsp / l), it turned out to be an excellent bread.
That's just a problem I have with baking in this oven - any baking gives a normal crust on top, and a thickened one from the bottom and sides, as if bread was baked. I'm wondering if this is all Severin's problem, or just mine? now I am trying to deal with this problem.

Hello! We have Severin 3986 recently, not even a month old, but it bakes just like yours - with a thickened crust on the bottom and sides, and normal on top. I think this is a feature of these stoves. The bread maker is wonderful, we like it. Already baked French, onion, and sweet bread with raisins.

By the way, if you add half a teaspoon of dry mustard to white bread, the sides do not roast that way, and the taste resembles a city bun.
I also experimented - instead of peanuts (in our family they don't like it) I put half a glass of walnuts in Italian bread - we liked it. Recommend.
