The correct method for using a measuring cup.

Note: 1 measuring cup of rice per person.
Pan measuring scale

Right scale - LITERS

The right scale shows the displacement: 1L - means 1 liter, 2L - means 2 liters, 3L - means 3 liters.

Full scale graduation

Left Scale - PIC

The left-hand scale, called "White Rice", is only needed for cooking rice.
The arrow labeled "Bowl" indicates the number of measuring cups (cups) of rice. The arrow titled "Level" - indicates the water level, for the corresponding number of measuring cups (cups) of rice.
For example: you want to make 6 measuring cups of rice. To do this, fall asleep, 6 measuring cups of rice, without a slide, and pour water to level 6, on the "Level" water scale.

Full scale graduation

If you want to cook softer rice: Pour in a little more water than is measured on the scale (if the rice is 2 mt, then the water should be between marks 2 and 3).

And where to buy a new measuring glass for HP, so that it is correct and with small divisions (10 ml each)? The risks on my cup from Kenwood are already erased, on the spoon from it I had to draw marks with a black marker.

Any glass with risks from a hardware store is suitable, there are such volumes from 100 to 500 ml.

Experienced users, can you please tell me how much water can be poured into the pan when cooking soup? Only up to 3L? The instructions state that the useful volume of the pan is 4.1L, and the last line on the scale is 3L. If I pour more than 3 liters will it escape through the valve?
Cook

Pour into a saucepan no more than the mark. If you pour above the 3L mark, chances are high that your soup will be on the table. Excess water will drain through the valve.
