Ingredients

Pitted cherries I like 2 kg very juicy, a lot of juice
Sugar 1 kg.
Vodka 1.5-2 bottles
Star anise spice 2 slices, cloves
Pink peppercorns 1/2 tsp

Cooking method

  • - I put pitted cherries in a jar, put sugar, pour vodka so as to completely cover the cherries.
  • - I close it tightly with a lid, put it in a dark place for a month. The first time I stir constantly so that the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • - After a month I add pepper, star anise, close it again and stand for about 3-4 weeks. I shake the jar periodically.
  • - I filter the tincture into decanters, bottles through a cotton filter (cosmetic napkin), and remove the infusion.
  • The longer it costs, the tastier it becomes!

Take my recipe. For many years in a row I cooked according to this recipe:
- 1 kg of cherries (possible with seeds, or better without seeds)
- boiling water 3 liters
-sugar 0.5 kg
-alcohol or vodka about, 5 liters (more is possible)

Rinse the cherries, remove the seeds (if not lazy) put sugar in a 5 liter jar, add vodka (alcohol) and pour boiling water. Put a rubber glove on the neck of the can and put it in a cool, dark place.
