Ingredients

Dough:
Simple yoghurt 150 g
Milk 200 ml
Dry yeast 1 sachet (7g)
Flour 750 g
Baking powder 3 tea. spoons
Salt 1 tea the spoon
Sugar 1 tea the spoon
Butter (margarine) 50 g
Eggs 2 pieces
For lubrication and dusting
Milk 1 table. the spoon
Poppy or sesame 1 table. the spoon

Cooking method

  • Mix the yogurt with milk and heat to a steamy temperature. Mix flour with dry yeast (if it says on the bag with your yeast that they need to be mixed with liquid, do so), baking powder, salt, sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients and knead the dough. Since the temperature in the kitchen is now very suitable for proofing, I did not knead in a bread maker, but in a food processor with a hook.
  • The dough is very tight, I had to add 1 table. a spoonful of milk. Cover the bowl with the dough with a plastic bag and leave to rise twice. Of course, you can use the "Dough" program.
  • Put the finished dough on a work surface and roll it into an oval about 30x25 cm in size. I rolled it straight over baking paper.
  • Brush with milk, sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds and roll again with a rolling pin so that the sprinkle sticks. Pierce with a fork or walk with a tenderizer, cover and leave to distance in a warm place until doubled.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at T 220 ° (convection 200 °) for 15 minutes.

It all started with the fact that my husband ordered "Hummus". And, as you know, this dish is eaten with fresh flatbread. I rummaged through my favorite book by Dr.
"Baking is fun!" and found a cake recipe. As always, the recipe did not disappoint me, only instead of a flatbread I got bread, but what a!
You can imagine my surprise when such a loaf came out!
Delicious, fluffy, aromatic!

Knead the finished dough in the "kneading" mode, put in a prepared mold, let it stand until it doubles and a beautiful smooth dome appears and bake in a preheated oven at T 180 ° (convection 160 °) until tender.
The bread does not crumble at all, the crust is soft and the next day, springy, has a neutral taste, ideal for sandwiches.
