Ingredients

Structure:
Wheat flour 750 g
Sugar 6 tbsp. l.
Butter - melt 300 g
Fresh yeast 60 g
Yolks 8 pcs.
Sour cream 6 tbsp. l.

Lemon zest 1 tsp
Apricot jam
1 filling:
3 squirrels
+ 3 tbsp. l. with a slide of sugar
+ some lemon zest

Cooking method

  • Dissolve yeast in sour cream and knead the dough. Divide the finished dough into 4 parts, 2 of them slightly larger - these will be the top and bottom of the pie. Roll out to size.
  • Put the first part of the dough into the mold, spread (not very much) apricot jam on it, then the second layer of dough, the first filling on it, then the third layer of dough, and the second filling on it. Roll out the last piece of dough and place on top of the whole cake. Leave on for 4 hours and then bake for about 1 hour.

  • The shape should be large and tall, preferably rectangular. At least two large pans in volume.

This cake is big and delicious. It is worth your time.

I always bake this way, but I have not tried it on dry ones.
I am more careful with dry yeast than with fresh yeast. There is absolutely no yeast smell. I do not know if the pie will rise enough if there is less yeast, and put more dry than 2 tsp. I wouldn't risk it.

this in a bread maker from 2 extra grams of yeast, all beauty can collapse, but in the oven this does not happen. Before buying a bread maker, I baked everything for myself, did not pay much attention to the amount of yeast in the recipe (a lot or a little), the pastries were always wonderful.
I can't even imagine that we had an interruption with fresh yeast. But maybe you have a lot of other good things for sale
