Turn on the grill and heat until the indicator lights up green. A small amount of smoke and odor may appear during heating, this is normal. Turn off the electric grill and let it cool down, then wipe the panels. The electric grill is ready for use.
Using
First, lightly grease the panels with butter, margarine or fat. This will make it difficult for the product to adhere to surfaces.
Connect the electric grill to the power supply, the indicator will light up red. Close the lid, set the desired temperature and wait for the electric grill to warm up.
When the panels have reached operating temperature, the heating indicator will turn green.
Place food on the plate and close the lid.
At the end of cooking, set the temperature regulator to minimum and turn off the electric grill by disconnecting it from the power supply.
Use only wood or plastic scoops that can withstand high temperatures to remove and turn food. Do not use metal objects to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
Cooking with lid ajar
Use this mode if double-sided cooking is not possible due to the fact that the top cover can crush the food by its own weight, or the food pieces have an uneven thickness, but you still need to heat not only from below, but also from above. Set the catch 4 to the position providing the desired closing angle of the lid and close it. The lid will not close completely and will be lifted so that the top work surface does not touch the food being cooked. You can also install the cover open at a 90 ° angle.
Align the cover if necessary: it rotates about a horizontal axis and you can install it tilted or horizontally. If the grill is hot, use oven mitts or oven mitts.
