Using the airfryer Smile AG 1912

Before first use

- Wipe the glass container with a damp sponge.
- Place the lid on the glass container.
- Make sure the airfryer is located 10 cm from other objects.
- Insert the plug into the socket.
- Set the thermostat to 250 ° C and the timer to 5 minutes to remove excess grease on the heating element. In this case, you will smell a faint burning smell.
- After the timer has expired, let the airfryer cool down for 10 minutes. When the airfryer has cooled down, remove the lid and wipe the sides of the container with a damp sponge. Now you can start cooking.

Important! The airfryer is equipped with an automatic safety shutdown system, which is ensured by the vertical position of the handle. To start cooking, move the handle of the airfryer to a horizontal position by pressing the pin on the inside of the handle.
If you want to remove the lid or turn off the airfryer, move the handle to the vertical position, thereby you will de-energize the airfryer.

Using the airfryer

• In the airfryer, food is cooked by convection (blowing hot air).
• Place food in the center of the wire rack, 2.5-3.5 cm from the sides of the container to ensure maximum circulation of hot air.
• If it is necessary to increase the volume of the airfryer, use the metal ring (12).
• Place the lid on the glass container.
• Insert the plug into the socket.
• Set the thermostat and timer to the desired position. Check the recipe or the tables again for the recommended cooking times and temperatures. When trying a recipe for the first time, follow the cooking process. Use the special temperature probe to determine the readiness of the dish.
• If necessary, remove the lid during cooking, move the handle to the vertical position. Keep the handle in an upright position while attaching the lid to the Airfryer, otherwise the Airfryer will be energized.
• The convection oven quickly heats up to the set temperature and maintains it for the time set before the thermostat turns off. The temperature indicator will turn on and off alternately.Then the convector and the heating element will turn off.
• At the end of the set time, the timer switches off and a beep sounds.
• Before cooking, spray the wire rack with non-stick spray to prevent food from sticking to it.
• Use a low grate unless otherwise specified. Use the high rack when cooking on two levels for foods with shorter cooking times, for light, small meals.

Attention! The glass surface gets very hot! Always use oven mitts and grip the insulated handles.
Do not place the lid of your Airfryer on a table or other surface as it is very hot.
By cooking your favorite food in the airfryer, you will see how much more convenient and faster it is than cooking in a conventional oven. Experiment and you will succeed.

Airfryer cleaning

Important! Make sure the airfryer is unplugged before starting cleaning.
Wait for the glass container and lid to cool before cleaning.
Never wash the container and lid of your Airfryer immediately after use.
Never immerse the cover in water or any other liquid!
Make sure that no water or other liquid gets inside the cover during cleaning!
Use a synthetic soft cloth to remove dirt.
Never use aggressive and abrasive cleaning agents, pastes, solvents, metal sponges for cleaning the airfryer.
If the container is not heavily soiled, wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge and dishwashing detergent. Rinse the container thoroughly. Wipe the container, lid, convector grill with a damp, clean sponge, then dry.
The grates are also easy to clean.

If the container is heavily soiled, use the self-cleaning function: pour water into the container so that it goes over the walls by 4 cm, then add detergent for washing dishes. You can also put dirty grates in the container. Place the lid on the container, set the timer for 10 minutes and set the temperature for washing to 100 ° C. The process of cleaning and removing caked food debris from the walls begins. When the timer ends, remove the cover. If necessary, clean the sides of the container with a sponge. If, nevertheless, there is dirt on the walls, reinstall the lid and turn on the airfryer for another 2-3 minutes.

Empty the contents and rinse the container thoroughly with warm water to remove any remaining detergent.
Important! Never fill the airfryer with liquid above the mark on the container.

Storing the appliance

Unplug the device from the mains, let it cool down, wipe the device with a damp cloth, then dry. Store the device in a clean and dry place out of the reach of children. During storage, accessories for the Airfryer can be placed in a glass container, place the expansion ring at the bottom of the glass container. Roll the cord into loose rings.
