Ingredients

premium wheat flour 400 gram
water 300 ml
dry yeast for baking 8 grams
salt 1 teaspoon
sugar 2 teaspoons
odorless vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

  • Mix flour, yeast, salt, sugar.
  • Pour in warm water, knead. The dough is soft, sticky.
  • Close the container with the dough with a foil and remove to come to a warm place for 30 minutes. Crumple. Remove for another 30 minutes.
  • Then divide the coming dough into 6 equal parts. Roll into koloboks. Cover with a towel and leave for another 30 minutes.
  • Pour vegetable oil into a thick-walled or cast-iron pan, heat to a haze.
  • Roll each bun into a thin cake.
  • Fry the cakes in hot oil for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • If desired, the finished cakes can be laid out on a paper towel.
  • Eat warm.

Yeast cakes were fried in oil by my grandmother when there was excess dough from the pies with potatoes.
