Zucchini with cheese and spinach

Ingredients

squash 1 PC.
cheese 30-40 g
spinach taste
dill or parsley taste
garlic (cloves) 2-4 pcs.
vegetable oil (or olive oil) 2-3 st. l.
salt taste
ground black pepper taste

Cooking method

  • To prepare cheese sauce, rinse and chop the dill, chop the garlic, add finely grated cheese, salt and black pepper. By pouring in a little vegetable or olive oil, bring the sauce to the desired consistency.
  • Rinse the spinach and zucchini under running water, cut the zucchini into slices. Using a silicone brush, brush the zucchini slices on both sides with vegetable or olive oil and fry in a well-heated skillet. Put the slices, still hot, on a platter, add spinach, drizzle with a few drops of vegetable oil and serve with cheese sauce to the table.

Corsica, thanks for the recipe. Maybe my kids will like this option, well, they don't want to eat zucchini.
I will try to implement it in the near future, I'm waiting for the zucchini to ripen, we have rains and cold, everything grows slowly like that.

Ne_lipa, Victoria, for children, it would probably be better to reduce the amount of garlic in the sauce, otherwise the dish may well be liked not only by the taste, but also by some variability, for example, choosing a variety or slicing of cheese, or collecting a roll on a plate on their own: on a slice of zucchini lay out the spinach leaves, then dice cheese or cheese sauce and roll up. In addition, according to personal preference, you can also add a sauce based on natural yogurt. For children, a very good option for including zucchini in the diet can be cream soup with yogurt or sour cream, additives to taste from meatballs and sausages to crackers and cheese streusel, as well as pasta with zucchini and cheese sauce. Thanks for the necessary advice !!! Especially about the rolls, for some reason I did not guess that they can be eaten exactly in this form. And my children are accustomed to garlic, so we will wait for our zucchini and try. The combination of cheese, olive oil and garlic - they like it very much.
