Salad by February 23rd Well, a real colonel

Ingredients
potato	3 medium
smoked chicken	1 small thigh
eggs	3 pcs
Champignon mushrooms	200g
green onions or onions	1/2 small onion or 1/2 small bunch
pickle	4 pcs medium
mayonnaise	100-120gr

Cooking method

We have been preparing this salad for a long time in our family. Uncomplicated, satisfying, tasty. You can cook for a festive table and serve for an everyday lunch.
This year, it is supposed to cook it on February 23, so I trained in advance in the appropriate design. I spied on the option on the Internet.
Boil potatoes and eggs, remove the skin from the chicken. Grate potatoes, eggs, pickled cucumber on a coarse grater. Chop the chicken and onion finely, also separately. Cut the mushrooms into medium thin slices and fry. Put in the salad already cooled.
After that, let's proceed directly to the assembly of the salad.
We spread the first layer of potatoes. Since the salad will be by February 23, we form it in the form of a shoulder strap.
Lubricate with mayonnaise. The second layer is made from chicken meat.
Again coat with mayonnaise. We spread a layer of mushrooms. Mayonnaise. Layer of eggs. Mayonnaise. Onion.
The very last layer will be made of pickled cucumbers, since they are very similar in color to shoulder straps. Moreover, the cucumbers tend to drain, so first we squeeze them (already grated), and then we put them on the salad.
On top we put stars and a button cut from a carrot. You can also use a radish or yellow bell pepper. I cut the strips from the radish.
Recently, I got carried away with the design of dishes, so I also decorated it with a rose of pickled cucumber. If anyone is interested, then she exhibited it as a master class

The result is a very unusual, fun serving of an ordinary salad.
Since the type of salad duplicates the colonel's shoulder straps, the name of the salad "Well, a real colonel" was born!

I like this salad because you can change the ingredients in it and it still turns out delicious! Instead of pickled cucumbers, you can take pickled cucumbers, pickled instead of fried mushrooms, and instead of smoked chicken - boiled or even smoked or boiled meat. Green onions can be replaced with onions.
