Aromatic rice porridge (lean) in a multicooker Panasonic SR-TMH18

Ingredients

Rice 3/4 measuring cup
Water
(if you don't fast, then milk + water)
4 cups
Sugar 1.5-2 tbsp. l.
(from HP)
Vanilla sugar 0.5 - 1 tsp
Salt 0.5 tsp
Seedless golden raisins 1/3 cup
Orange 1 PC.
Oil (favorite)

Cooking method

  • 1. Rinse the raisins.
  • 2. Remove the zest from the orange with a grater - 1 tsp will go into porridge (to taste, you can less or more), peel the orange itself, divide it into slices, cut each in half.
  • 3. Rinse the rice as follows: pour cold water, rub with your hands, then rinse under running cold water.
  • 3. Put everything in a saucepan (I put it on the timer since the evening), pour water over it, "Porridge" mode.
  • Add a little oil to the ready-made, still hot porridge (probably delicious with almond, I didn't have it - I added light sesame.
  • If you don't fast, then creamy).

Note

I hasten to share a delicious porridge !!!

A few words about rice: this cereal has the ability to absorb and remove toxins and slags from the body - but only if it is boiled in water and well washed (we wash it not only from dirt, but also wash out some of the starch). Works well with vegetables and fruits.

CubicHave you already tried to cook this porridge with the addition of milk? Doesn't the orange curdle milk?
Cubic
For the first time, this porridge was cooked with milk (sterilized, 2 tbsp of milk, 2 tbsp of water) did not curl, but the oranges are not very sour here either. And now we tried the lean version

Cubic, thanks for the recipe "Rice aromatic porridge"!
We really, really liked this porridge in taste (I only slightly changed the proportions of liquid and cereal). It is very tasty to drink this porridge with cold milk.

The photo is not very high quality, because the porridge was steaming, and it was impossible to wait.
I want to note that milk is curdled in any case (is it just me?), While I did not set it on the timer, but cooked it right away. And it tastes better on water alone!

For beginners "Toon", please: and aromatic rice porridge on the "porridge" program is "Buckwheat" or "Milk porridge" I also have "Pilaf". But simply "Porridge" is not.
Cubic
For some reason, I did not receive a notification on the topic .. Dana accidentally saw your question. The answer is: in my saucepan, "porridge" probably corresponds to cartoonish Panasonic "milk porridge".
Dana
Thank you Cubik. Did on "Plov" garbage turned out. I had to leave the heating for an hour. It's good not on a working day, otherwise they would solder it to me.

If the milk is fresh and the oxidation process has not begun in it, it will never curdle from citrus fruits if you cook porridge on it. My grandmother taught me this, earlier she was also afraid to add sourness to milk
