Only I had lemons with a thick skin, I rubbed the yellow part (zest) from one lemon into the dough and from the other lemon into the filling. Then I cut off the entire white part, it tastes bitter, cut it, removed the bones and ran it with a mixer. Here I realized that I had overdone it. Next time I want to try to leave larger pieces, otherwise I had straight juice.
The taste is sweet and sour with a pronounced pleasant lemon note.
