Pumpkin baked with bread

Ingredients

Pumpkin (peeled weight) 150 g
Bread 120 g
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. l.
Salt taste
Provencal Herb Blend 2 chips.
Pumpkin seeds 2 tbsp. l.
Granulated garlic 2 chips.

Cooking method

  • Pumpkin baked with breadCut the pumpkin into thin small pieces and put in a bowl. Add salt, Provencal herbs, garlic, 1 tbsp. l. vegetable aromatic oil (I used camelina, it is very tasty with sesame). Mix well.
  • Pumpkin baked with breadCut the bread into cubes 2 times larger and thicker than the pumpkin. Bread should be dark (with malt, such as Borodinsky). I used my favorite "Bouquet" (link in the note).
  • Pumpkin baked with breadAdd the bread to the pumpkin, add another 1 tbsp. l. oil and mix well again.
  • Pumpkin baked with breadPlace in a greased baking dish. Look at the slices of bread, and if they are not in oil, then you need to sprinkle them. Place in a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • Pumpkin baked with breadThen take out, sprinkle with pumpkin seeds on top and bake for another 10 minutes.
