Sugar 70 g

Cooking method

  • And I dry everything! And I could not resist not to cook black currant marshmallow. I did not dare to dry the berries, they say, it is a painfully long process.
  • So, we take fresh berries and beat them with sugar in a blender (you can do it without sugar, but I have sour currants). The puree will not be completely homogeneous, since the blender will not completely break through the skins (in any case, my blender did not cope with them). But this is not a problem, but quite the opposite.
  • Pour the puree onto a well-oiled pan and set it to dry at 50-55 degrees (in my dryer, this is the maximum temperature). The pastille dried up in 13 hours. It remained a little sticky. I usually cut it into portions, wrap each piece in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. You can eat it like candy, or you can brew tea: chop a small amount with a knife or tear it with your hands and pour hot water over it, let it brew for 5 minutes.
