Cod in bread

Ingredients

Bread is a medium-sized round loaf (bought from me, made from corn flour, it fits perfectly with this dish) 1 PC.
Cod 2 pieces - about 150-200 g each
Onion 1 PC.
Bay leaf, salt, pepper 3 teeth
Garlic
Olive (vegetable) oil
Parsley

Cooking method

  • Cut off the top of the loaf and carefully remove the crumb.
  • Boil cod pieces, remove bones and tear the meat with your hands.
  • Cut the onion into thin rings and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown with bay leaf and garlic squeezed out in a garlic press.
  • Add fish, chopped parsley, salt and pepper.
  • Pour in the chopped crumb (in my case, I added only half, it would no longer fit into the loaf), mix well until it is saturated with oil and the rest of the ingredients.
  • If it is dry, then you can add a little vegetable oil.
  • Put the whole mass in a loaf, cover with the top.
  • Wrap in foil and bake for 45 minutes. at 170 gr.

The dish is designed for

2 servings

Note

A very easy recipe to prepare. I often ate this dish in restaurants. Ideal for lunches or dinners with a family or for the arrival of guests.

It's not just tasty, it's very tasty and unusual for an ordinary family dinner. Want to surprise your loved one? Prepare such a simple dish, but with such a presentation!
I served with boiled 10 minutes. steamed, and then baked tiny potatoes in their uniforms.

Bon Appetit!

it's not too much, is everything almost ready? and for 45 minutes ...

Maybe less. Everything is already ready. But as the Portuguese told me, so I did it.

Mila007 tell me, it doesn't get wet while languishing in the stove.
And another opposite question, and not dryish, it turns out a fish-archery-bread filling in a bread crust.
Sorry for stupid questions, I just want to try for lunch today

Of course, the questions are not stupid, but very sensible!
The filling turned out not dry, the very thing
And the crust of the bread did not soften. I had a pachyderm, too. From corn flour. It fits so well here

Mila007 Thanks for the quick response
Tell me, I saw apples in the photo, should they also be present?
Oh, this is my potato?
As I understand it, you cut off the top of the bun half?
And how much about gr. bun?
Mila007
Yes, I cut a little less than half of the top. The bread was about 600 grams. You can eat for two!
