Ingredients

For the test
Dry yeast 11 g
Egg 1 PC
Salt 0.5 h l
Milk 250 ml
Sugar 1 tbsp
Wheat flour 500 g
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
For filling
Butter 50 g
Dill 3-4 branches
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Salt Taste
For greasing buns

Cooking method

  • Make a depression in the sifted flour in the center, pour in warm milk and vegetable oil, add yeast, sugar and salt, beat in an egg. Stir with a spoon, then knead the dough with your hands. Knead for 10-15 minutes. The dough should be soft, but not sticky to your hands. Put the finished dough in a bowl, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 60-90 minutes.
  • The dough should double in volume.
  • Knead the finished dough and divide into eight equal parts. Form into round buns, place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and leave for 30 minutes, covered with a towel. It is better to spread the buns at some distance from each other.
  • To prepare the filling, combine softened butter, finely chopped dill and garlic squeezed through a press, mix well and add a small amount of salt.
  • Make cuts on the buns that have come up with a sharp knife.
  • Put the garlic and herbs filling into the cuts on the buns.
  • Grease the buns with a beaten egg and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Bake until beautiful, golden brown.
  • Remove the buns from the oven and serve.

Note

You can add cheese to the garlic filling.
The same recipe can be used to bake sweet buns, increasing the amount of sugar to taste, and adding vanillin or cinnamon.
