Buns with pesto sauce

Ingredients

flour 250 g
fresh yeast 5 g
milk 110 ml
eggs 1 PC
butter 20 g
sugar 2 h l
salt 1 tsp
for the sauce:
basil 0.5 bundle
pine nuts 1-2 tbsp
garlic 2 cloves
Parmesan 2-3 tbsp
olive oil on demand

Cooking method

  • 1. Grind flour with cold butter into fine crumbs. Heat the milk to room temperature. Grind yeast with sugar. Add a slightly beaten egg and yeast to the milk. Add salt to flour and butter, pour in the milk mixture and knead the dough for 5-7 minutes. Round the dough and leave to rise for an hour and a half. The dough is very soft, but not sticky.
  • 2. Put the matched dough on a cutting mat (dust it lightly with flour). Stretch with your hands into a rectangle about one and a half centimeters thick, roll up and roll slightly. Then divide into pieces weighing 50-55 g. Form into round buns, make a depression in each and put about 0.5 teaspoon of sauce.

Oooh, what a beauty! I can imagine what a scent!
Eh, where else to take basil, even recently it has not come across. Is dry fit?
Twist
Vasilika, thanks for the warm feedback!
If there are difficulties with buying fresh basil, then you can do this - take fresh parsley as a basis and add 1-2 teaspoons of dry basil. This will provide the texture and flavor you need for the sauce.
MariS
Very tasty buns, Marisha !!! Such seductive! You can also use parsley, as an option ...
Twist
Marisha, Thank you!

my favorite buns! only I don't sprinkle it with cheese, but more often I press down the sauce with a cheese cube
Twist
the same, glad to match tastes! And thanks for the cheese cube idea. I'll try.
Manna
Oh, I too ... I also love these buns. Only I make them without nuts ... and cheese according to my mood ... They are very tasty. I bake them in the airfryer. Vota
Twist
manna, exactly similar! I went through the search engine, there was nothing with "pesto", so I put it up.
Manna
That her, Marish, they are similar, but not the same. I did it without nuts. And I haven't tried it with basil yet. So ... your (is it possible?) Recipe is still different Next time I'll definitely try it
Twist

Sure you may! I would be very glad. And I hope you like the buns.
Omela
Marish, what delicious rolls !!!!
Vasilica
MarinaThanks for the parsley tip! And then I never found fresh basil, I went to Auchan yesterday as a specialist, but: pardon: no. And I forgot to put the plus sign, you bastard. I'm going to fix it.
Twist
Ksyusha, Thank you!

Vasilika,
glad I could help!

Somehow, buns with a blotch did not take root here. Choose more with filling inside. I wonder if you can stuff the sauce inside? The main thing and the sauce that is
Twist
Danawhy not try it? But the sauce probably needs to be made thicker so that the oil does not flow and does not interfere with molding. The buns could be shaped like round cakes and sprinkled with cheese and nuts on top.
Dana
And more cheese, Boom to try
Twist
Exactly! While I was writing, I wanted to bake these myself!
