Ingredients

Juice (I have squash) 200-220 ml
Lemon juice (vinegar) 1 tsp
Semolina 3 tbsp. l (with slide)
Vegetable oil (odorless) 3-4 tbsp. l
Salt 1/4 tsp
Sugar 0 or 1 tsp
Flour (I have a / c) 220-240 g
Baking powder 2 tsp
Soda (optional) 1/4 tsp
Corn flour (for forming) 1 tbsp. l

Cooking method

  • The dough for these cakes is similar to the already familiar to many Yeast-free dough on kefir for quick cakes and pizza, with the only difference that instead of fermented milk products, we will use juice as a liquid. I hope this idea is useful to someone. Flatbreads can be used for tea, and instead of bread, everything will depend on the selected juice and the amount of sugar in the dough.
  • As a result of cooking a salad from zucchini, I formed a little more than 200 ml of zucchini juice.

  • I could pour it out and calm down, but I decided to put it into the cake dough, especially since I had long planned a similar experiment with apple juice. Since I have this juice completely without acidity, I added a teaspoon of lemon juice to it (you can just add citric acid or vinegar to a slight acidity).
  • We mix juice, semolina, vegetable oil. Add salt (I put less than 1/4 teaspoon, since my juice is already salted) and sugar to taste (you can do without it - I have a pinch). We leave for 10-15 minutes.

  • Stir the flour or sift it with baking powder and baking soda. We will prepare everything for molding: on a Teflon mat, on which we will bake our cake, we put a heaped tablespoon of corn flour to facilitate the molding of the dough.
  • Pour the prepared flour with baking powder into a liquid base and quickly knead the dough with a spoon. The dough is thick and sticky. We put it on a Teflon mat with a spoon or oily hands and roll it in corn flour on all sides. Knead - stretch it into a cake with a thickness of at least 1 cm.Make small holes with your finger and transfer the cake on the rug to the pizza maker.

  • The time will depend on the baking temperature and on the degree of desired crispness of the crust, in my GF from the cold - 20 minutes for 180 + 5 minutes for 195 + 5 minutes on off. stove
