Cooking method

  • In order to cook chicken with rice in a slow cooker, you must:
  • 1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water becomes translucent, add water for 20 minutes
  • 2. Remove from the freezer and leave to defrost Bulgarian pepper, cut tomatoes (you can speed up the process in the microwave)
  • 3. Carrots are cleaned, washed, grated.
  • 4. Peel the onion, wash, cut into cubes.
  • 5. Wash the chicken, cut into small pieces.
  • 6. Turn on the multicooker: "Baking" mode, time 15 minutes. Pour in oil and heat. First fry the onion for 5 minutes, then add the carrots and fry for another 5 minutes. At the very end, add chicken meat, fry on all sides. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, spices. We mix.
  • 7. Add tomatoes and peppers, mix.
  • 8. After the peppers and tomatoes have completely melted, add the rice. Mix everything well and fill with water.
  • 9. Close the multicooker with a lid, select the "Quenching" mode, time 40 minutes. 5 minutes before the end - fill in fresh herbs for aroma, break a whole clove of garlic and 1 bay leaf in half and stick it in different places.
